1) short notice (common devs, 5 days notice for a once in a year event, really ?) 2) poor rewards but hey, I guess you can't award a piece of equip at each stage of the tournament and then make us grind and collect eggs/feathers/scales/nuts/hats and god knows what
Knocked out in the 1st round. 1st time a non finalist. Grats to the Olivesī Grats to the Magentas making it to the show. 18hrs of war for both of u entertaining all of us watching and to those of us knocked out kudos on your efforts. My 1st ASW was the 3rd which was 3-8hr wars in 36hrs. Times have changed but the fun remained.
They gave us one weeks notice. Plus the timing of wars really suck for some TZs. I understand it's impossible to have a good time for every TZ. However given the fact that some TZs will be at a disadvantage, they needed to give more notice. They could have even supplied a couple possible weekends and had the top 10k vote for which was the best.
A road map would help best. Allows ppl to plan if needed. No interest in voting. Takes too long and unscientific.
Crap, no one told me we were in a scientific experiment and had to follow the rules of the scientific method! Voting was just a suggestion. It's a means of gauging the people opinions on something. By no means should it be used as the sole way of gathering information. However there is no harm in trying to obtain more information from the player base. Plus it doesn't take that long to read a question and click on the button. Devs could implement polls for a number of things to get a rough idea of what we think. Communication and the gathering of information and research is how the devs will understand the player base better. Votes are one way of doing that. One weeks notice was simply not long enough for a lot of us.
It should be top 15k. Wars should be 3 hours. There should be 1 war a weekend, hypes it up more. There should be a 1 1/2 month notice.
Polling actually those who can and will enter would make sense. Otherwise no. NOTICE: 1 year til next ASW start building to make top 10k GL n cya all then
On a side note 3 out of 5 Todd accts were eligible for ASW. Those 3 accts barely active in last 6 months ...pretty much no growth. ...the overall player base has shrunk
Nighthawk, did you actually read what I said? Please go back and reread... I said to poll the the top 10k accounts . What would be the point in polling people about a war they can't enter? :roll:
I'll take that as a no, you didn't read my whole response. There's no need to be snarky. Asking for notice is reasonable when it's possible you'll be dedicating 18hours of free time to war. I imagine the lack of notice contributed to the lower participation. Not sure why you feel the need to respond in a way to mock other players who are only trying to help make improvements. 1 year is absurd and we both know it. One weeks notice is just unfair.
Where did I say a road map wasn't a good idea? Oh wait, I didn't. A road map would be the ideal solution however I can't see that happening given the last time they made one. The community got disgruntled to say the least when it wasn't followed. Events like ASW and Season 6 are something that feature every year. I'm sure the devs could provide a ball park date of when it was going to happen at least a month prior.
