Combined stat clan limits

  1. This would create clans that can support their members. That would offer them a chance to grow in a place that can give them supportive clans that actually complete ebs in a reasonable timeframe.
    Where players see the lb as an endgame but have a successful clan they don't need to jump out of just to try and get the next big eb. Because they will be able to run them themselves.

    Yes there may need to be some tweaks to limits and stats . But that's manageable. As the op states. Clans could be secured to trial this. And as actually mentioned earlier ig has 120 slots. They could be ideal to run a first player led test filling up with mids to test times.
    If they or the devs selected a clan to trial this. I'm sure many would volunteer to test whether its viable or not.
     
  2. How would this benefit the big clans over the small clans? For the millionth time: THE CAPACITY WILL BE THE CS OF 100 BC ACCOUNTS WHICH IS ESSENTIALLY WHAT ALL THE BIG CLANS HAVE ANYWAY.

    The smaller to mid accounts are ALREADY being left behind because everyone is running to clans running ASoF and LOTL. And what happens to those clans? They struggle in no mans land trying to get members in again. They drop down eb tiers or close altogether. Now if you could bring 2 or 3 struggling clans together, then they can work together. They will be stronger together than they were apart. Instead of struggling on B2B Haunts the strength of the three clans might get them to running TSG instead.

    This has the potential to help clans come together and work together. That's what the purpose of clans is, isn't it? Night isn't asking for all clans to join together for ASoF and LOTL. No. He's trying to find a way to help out the smaller and mid players keep working together and getting stronger while others ditch the clan for better gold. Obviously the clan isn't quite up to running certain ebs, hence why people leave, but if clans can move from haunts to TSG from working together, how's that a bad thing? They're still working and growing like the rest of us.

  4. I have said this to nightwing in pm and if you have a clan of 200 people halfway to bc they might have the same stats as 100 players who are bc but attack power doesn't scale on a 1:1 basis. 200 half bc accounts would be far more powerful in an eb than 100 bc accounts.

    100 players is more than enough to get clans to complete ebs and doubling that to 200 is just lazy honestly. If you can't complete an eb on time with a full clan of 100 members should you be doing that eb? The road to bc is a long one which everyone agrees on however you don't seem to understand it's a long road for everyone not just the new players. I wouldn't go to another game and demand I can get huge advantages because I started later than everyone else.
     
  5. BC is a long road for us all. No one ever said it was only for the smalls.

    This isn't a perfect idea and all ideas have flaws. But something needs to be done to bring some balance into the game. We need new accounts to stay and to grow and to be active if we want KaW to continue. It doesn't matter what happens or what devs implement, bringing some balance into the game as it stands right now will be incredibly difficult. Someone is going to stand to 'lose out' for the long term benefit of the game.

    We know damage doesn't scale. But again, something devs need to have input on. They should know the mechanics of KaW better than us and should be able to provide an answer to whether this is plausible or not in the way suggested. I'd like to know what the devs have to say.
     
  6. As we discussed in pm the limits need to be experimented with. I also stated that this is to balance the fact that bigs are leaving the smaller clans they have been a part of to chase the large eb drops.
    This has broken up many clans and destroyed many in the process.
    It's not lazy, more a way to balance the damage damage that events have caused.
    This in no real way reduces the individual kingdoms need to hit ebs and maintain high activity to grow.
    Just as it could be argued in a counter argument that having all the biggest accounts in one clan though natural is also lazy.
    So it works both ways.
    As I also said in pm. We need the devs to comment on how much space they would offer. Where the stat balances would actually be and how and even if it is worth pursuing this idea in full or even in part.

    As I also stated earlier in the thread that the potential damage does in fact act proportionately
    The exact % again we need dev input but I see your concern for 200 at a certain size having the potential for increased speed.
    I don't agree they would considering the size if kingdoms and the drop off in damage per eb.
    For example you do somewhere just over 1% damage final bar asof.
    I do .5% so I need to xtal once to match your damage.
    Your six xtals do 6% damage. Mine do 3%.
    A lb build complete account does 2% damage and their six xtals would do 12% damage.
    As such it is proportionate.
    Two of you are need to do the same damage as one lb player.
    4 of me are needed to do the same.
    The stats and damage is accounted for in the current system.
    Now whilst my figures of 200 may not meet everyone's approval they are not set.
    I have stated in the opening post after sucker321 posted that I am open to suggestions and that the devs would need to run trails to test as with any system where the final values would and should be.

    The issue with changing the max stat limit is it would stop clans currently below 100 build complete members becoming a full stat clan in goodness knows how many years.
    Also consider that next year no doubt new lands will come out.
    These will bring forth even more new issues with build and again make things far worse.
    You are also already asking for a new higher paying eb.
    This would destroy the gap making any attempt of new players even mass spending ones to ever hope to catch the lb. and if we want new high spending accounts that help keep kaw around another six years and the thousands of micro transactions. Adjusting things as we go along has to at certain stages be considered.
    I am not saying this is the only road to take.
    I think it makes a lot of sense. But it's a thought and one that will hopefully inspire some way of balancing kaw and adapting it to the current setup.
     
  7. I saw a post about it was easier to grow at earlier stages off kaw.Man You lost and deranged to think That. All these events allow all most especially the smalls to grow rapidly and gain good equip as compared to those dropped from ebs. Why would the devs allow 200 limit clans for smalls, just so they can run ebs they designed to be hit by bigger builds that were near or had reached BC? Asof And Lotl especially was crested so that BC players would have an EB that was strong and competitive in a esy that activity and numbers would be needed to complete. What kezzer and s few have said is true, stop being a soft whiney dodo, do some wars, wars are not limited to just lbs being able yo achieve top ranks, check the lb on wars normally small and mid players, all achieving 15k items, and they do so each event the most off them.there's a reason why a clear class level is seen and in the game, you want to fight for smalls how about you grow some like all the bugs have done. Wanna moan about nor being ablento grow so fast then grow at your pscd and stop trying to be rwual yo those who put in more time, more effort and money than you to achieve goals you dream off.

Lets give an illustration, an athlete runs round the track at a constant pace, at 400m mark another athlete joins in the run, going at the same pace, how does the second athlete having ran less than the first ever catch up??? Answer: The blooming athlete never catches up unless the first athlete slows his pace considerably or stops running altogether.
    So like kaw, lbs will he lb and you cant talk nonsensical joke crap about smalls ever catching up, need to be real to yourself and not give false hope to people you know,its only simple physics.
