Epic Battle Actions Count

Discussion in 'Ideas + Feature Requests' started by IB-GodlikeThreat-IB, May 1, 2016.

  1. Having the option to view how many actions and individual has performed during an Epic Battle can be informative, but I do not mean when it ends. Those of a moderate to high clan ranking (you as well can see your own actions) should be able to view how many actions a clan member has done, at that moment. No waiting and seeing who's dragging you behind and who's carrying everyone! Epic Battles will then run more smoother, with the "Epic Battle Actions Count" coexisting with the battle log.

I hope you guys like my idea and I get support from you guys!

  2. Support!!!!

  3. I can see this being useful if added in a similar way to this

I removed the players names as it has no relation to the thread
But it could be a simple addition to the battle log.
And would help clans monitor activity more accurately during particularly the 12 hour ebs where every hit counts.

  4. I think people should get some loyalty and stop booting people for not hitting a epic battle.

  5. Just like pwars, hit and boot, come back when you are full.. Loyalty left this game a few years ago...

  6. Grizzy
    Just a quick question
I love loyal. It's great being part of the same clan as friends.
But loyal jaw wise means participating and helping your clan progress.
If you aren't active. How are you loyal and helping your clan?
There are plenty of chat apps that can be used to maintain friendships with players that stop playing kaw for whatever reason.
Not being active and holding your clans progress back wasting space is not being loyal.
Being loyal means helping your clan as much as your life allows you too.

And these days with these huge ebs. If you go to sleep and the clan needs space to help finish an eb. Waking up clanless and just re-applying when active is just another way of being loyal and helping your clan.
Maybe if with these new ebs clan sizes were doubled that would help the hundreds of smaller clans. Not every clan is an lb clan and can afford the luxury of carrying inactives.

It's just kaw and clans having to adapt and change with the times.
Blame the way the games set up.
But we have to work with what we have.

  7. Some people don't hit EB's at all, still they should be kicked? It doesn't mean they are inactive just means they like a different part of the game. These leaderboard clans kick people for being like that, who's going to have your back when osw comes around? Nobody they will they will all leave you. I understand people quit the game completely and then get kicked that's fair enough but kicking someone for not hitting a EB for half an hour is just not necessary. Prime there is loyalty in the game still :)

  8. I agree some players get involved in pvp events, and sleep, so you can't expect epic battle activity 24/7.

If you're honestly that invested in an epic battle why are you even playing this game?

  9. That's where there has to be a sacrifice grizzy.
If clans choose to do pvp then obviously they cannot run the biggest ebs.
This proposal is only relevant really to those clans that are basically eb clans trying to run b2b or at least a large number of big ebs.
No clan has to kick anyone.
But clans have to decide what their priorities are first. And run ebs and manage their members based on that decision.
Whilst as I said, loyalty is important.
This addition would only relate to certain clans and would have zero affect on pvp clans or other aspects.
As for sleeping. Of course every clan allows sleeping. I hope. But my instructions to my clan owners is that if they ever struggle, thankfully not a problem but if. And the same for any clan I guest at, that they should kick me and recruit help to get the eb to finish.
To me. That's just helping others. I certainly can't help them while I sleep.
And osw wise for myself. If I make a problem. I deal with it. Not dragging others down for drama I create.
So for the few who could use this feature. Why not. To those who wouldn't. It has zero affect so why does it matter ?

  10. I clan isn't a charity its a buisness. You are only a strong as your weakness. They aren't doing their part¿ kick them. It literally takes one minute to unload and go back to your job.

  11. The game isn't all about your EB's. Some people get hit and hit back I know you wouldn't know about this but still you'd kick this person because you have no loyalty.

  12. There doesn't have to be a sacrifice they can still dp these EB's while people sleep or hit others instead of eb the EB will just be slower. Events made loyalty worse drops are less with longer EB's.

Its a pointless feature and will only make loyalty worse still.

  13. You assume i don't pvp. Thats cute.

  14. I can see you don't.

  15. Grizzy you are quite right events have made it far worse. And the drops linked to the top ebs are a huge part of that.
But there is a different thread for that I believe.
For the purpose of this thread. For clans trying to make the next levels they need actives.
They don't need dead weight that forces other players to xtal to complete ebs.
Members should want to help their clan mates finish the clan goals.
If that's pvp awesome. It's a fantastic aspect of the game.
But for eb clans. This would do nothing but give them an extra way to monitor activity. See who they need to encourage. Who is struggling to hit and that they can focus on growing.
    Or if needs be kick.
For four years I have actually wanted this feature. So obviously I support it now. But I do agree changes need to happen that encourage loyalty again.
But until then. With the game set up and events that you rightly point out, put extra pressure on clans and certain players we have to deal with what we have. And this would help until other changes happen. If they happen at all.

  16. That can be useful when you help a small ️clan. With the current system you try to help a small clan, then get a little disappointed when you realize at the end you pretty much solo the EB and helped noone.

  17. Ok,so:
I have a job. I have kids. I have a social life. I am a human, so I also occasionally sleep and eat. When I AM on I sometimes randomly do pvp events instead of ebs. I also like to cause trouble which leads me into pvps that keep my bars drained. So should my clan kick me if I don't put a bar into every eb?
This seems silly to me. If you're in a clan with good communication, they already know what you've got going on in rl and in the game. Im an admin, I'm tagged. I'm trusted. They know if I'm suspiciously "inactive" for a day that I've most likely got stuff going on and I'll be back.
Instead of breaking down every second of a KaWers game time to keep tabs on them, how about you fix the communication issue that's obviously there?
"Hey, I'm using all my bars on PvP this weekend so I can hit my goal."
    Or
"Hey I've got some real life crud to deal with."
    Or
    "Hey, I'm heading to bed."
That's it. It's JUST that easy. It's what cc and pms are for.

  18. Long overdue glt. They can force a battlecry counter on eb page without it even active, I think they could implement somthing as simple and useful as this. Support

  19. On topic- I support this feature for the pure fact that the battle log history is a joke. It records (just my stupid observation) only a fraction of actual actions. I can unload a FB sometimes and maybe see 1-2 actions. Very helpful for clan trackers who if wanted could get an "accurate" active status. Someone joins at beginning of an eb, does maybe an unload, and crashes to sleep as planned. How does this help the clan? I have seen this since pwars were killed and eb's were the thing. Everyone seemed to be just chasing eb eq solo mode. Some clans did well and gained great loyalty from them. The Force and sub clans, as well as Inglorious.

Grizzy- I see your point on being able to be in a clan, and pvp, and not get kicked for no eb activity. Find a clan that supports this. There are Many out there.
Optimal- your point is valid also, and what I think OP was trying to address. Many event clans who do b2b eb's want highest activity. If I'm chasing items, I would want all my clannies to be awake and active also. If not, a boot, and reapply when you are. If you don't like waking up clan less, find a slightly smaller clan. That's the sacrifice.

  20. If someone was in an epic battle clan, where you're in it to hit the epic battle, to finish and hit more epic battles, keywords being epic battle, they would and should be active hitting the epic battle. If they aren't interest in hitting an epic battle, then they can stay at home clan where they won't be kicked, not at a clan that's meant for ebs.
