Is it ok? To take seals elsewhere... So we've (nearly) all been there where we've gained a seal through a drop from one of the many epic battles we run. Is it ok to take these seals and go to back to back HTE clans? Or should all seals dropped be used in your current clan? Do loyalties exist or is it all about the quest for bc? It it ok? Forums decide...
Personally I think it depends on the situation. If I am staying in a clan for a period of time longer than a day then normally yes I would say that the seal should be used within the clan. If I am staying short term then it depends on the clan honestly. If they were desperate for help as they were going to fail then nobody should feel obliged to drop that seal in the clan seeing as you came to help them. Personally I see no reason why the seal shouldn't belong to me as I am not taking from a clan the drop wasn't for the clan it was for me. In most cases I will drop the seal for the clan but that's because I don't tend to visit clans for short periods unless visiting a friend. Also as a follow up question: most large clans have very little use for seals as it goes too fast so is it fair for large players to horde up these seals(drop from eb not bought) if they have no use for them?
I think a lot depends on behaviour of fellow housemates if they had a tendency to go off with their free seal, everyone will follow suit If they stay and share its likely anyone would want to do the same. think higher % of people would do this However it is your seal and anyone getting a drop should never be chastized for their decision
I agree with Kez, I've never understood the requirement to use them in the clan you got them. Once it's dropped, it's yours. I wouldn't require someone to use their 6 inferno in clan, why require the seal be used there? The clan already received the benefit of the help on the eb. Now, that being said, loyalty is a good thing and if you've been in the clan for a good deal of time or if you plan to, dropping the seal there is a nice thing to do. However, it shouldn't be required.
I don't have an opinion either way. But if I was a clan owner, I could see the merits of keeping seals where they're dropped.
Is it truly your seal though? You worked as a clan for the drop, why shouldn't the clan as a whole benefit from the work put into completing the earlier eb?
Going by that my event rewards aren't mine either? As the clan helped me get them. Edit: if it didn't drop at home clan or allied clan then its going home with me.
It didn't drop for the clan it dropped for you while in said clan. If I won on a lottery ticket should I share with the shop I got it from because I got the ticket there? The thing is you would share your winnings with those closest to you, use it on yourself, you might invest it, you might donate to charity. The key thing is you're in charge, not the shop. Why is a seal any different?
I don't feel you are obligated to use it, it is YOUR seal, but at the same time there is no reason you shouldn't share it with your clan.
Working as a clan for the drop would be of devs came out and said for ever 1k actions on an eb, you will get a seal dropped to a random member in your clan. But it's not like that. Drops are up in the air. You may or may not get one. And to avoid this sort of controversy I do not join clans that say you have to use a seal drop in this clan, and if I do, it's not for an eb that may drop a seal.
I think you should take it wherever you want, the only way I'm dropping it in a clan is if it is my home clan or a clan that I have friends in
Go by what the clan standards are. Usually owners will list on the clan page whether a seal dropped from an EB is yours to take or to keep in clan. If the clan has keep in clan as a rule and you don't agree with that don't join the clan...or do and cause trouble if that's your thing lol. Personally I'd drop in the same clan I won the seal in, the clan put in the time to complete the EB it dropped from so it seems like the fair thing to do.
I normally keep my seals to myself normally. If 2 drop I'll consider dropping 1 in the clan. However if it's my home clan I'll drop them there since most of them would do the same. But in the end, the seal dropped for you. If you weren't there it wouldn't have dropped.
