Not quite sure why you are arguing with daph here seeing as what you are saying is arguing against her but saying the same thing. All she said is it's hard to highlight those who push for change or are making certain areas of the game advance which aren't always visible to the whole of the community. People who make a huge difference in the war community do deserve to be recognized and VK isnot like the mod rank where they can only realistically have up to a certain amount. I am not saying we should give VK to every person who does a good thing but the fact that there are more mods (a temporary position) than VK does show that the VK rank is used quite sparingly. On top of this a lot of our current VK are mods too which lowers the number of VK that are visible to the community a lot. Also I didn't say in the OP because I didn't want to influence anyone else's views but I personally feel like these will be the next VK Chocolate23: Fantastic guide creator and helpful forumer Sethosaurus_: Highly helpful and tries to keep things interesting with occasional creative contests. Ashesofeden: Highly entertaining forumer who makes the forums a better place and highly knowledgeable and highly overdue VK (so long as he keeps things appropriate :lol: ) Predicting the next mods is a little harder as you never know who has applied but there are some people i think stand a good chance. oxIxo_lOtR-TitanGod-dOtB_oxIxo: Old mod who left on a very high note and is still very active in game. Moody: A current VK who is highly knowledgeable and highly helpful to players. He has great knowledge of the ToU and would suit the role well. Ts_MonKey-NuTs_Ts: Not widely known within the forum community but is a highly helpful player with a great knowledge base. Also used to be very active in the war scene so is well known in that area and can assist there.
It's all about the blue name really... How very kind of you personally, I have always played this game, and it's brother game Future Combat for that matter, with one very simple goal. To have fun and escape my real life. (Not that my real life was particularly bad but we all crave an escape sometimes.) I do that mainly through chatting... I don't have the largest stats and never have (as many can attest in FC) but I make myself busy. On FC I made every guide under the sun, the quests guide, the bbcode guide and picture posting/forum quirks were all my creation. But they all got deleted I had started kaw before I touched fc, I ran a clan for many years under the theme of Harry Potter (if anyone remembers "Dumbledore's Army", "The Auror Office" and "The Leaky Cauldron" they were all my clans over the years. But when FC went down the pooper I made it my aim to help the people who hadn't become kaw-savvy into the way of life that is kaw. Now this was through a number of ways, not least the infamous thread "Hazzy's Hideout" but through walls and pms with these players that wanted some kind of help in the confusing world of kaw. It was for this that I recieved Valient Knight. I was relatively unknown in the community at the time and I'm pretty sure we all thought I was a weird choice but it's a matter of what you do in this game that is fun for you. Whether that be PVE, PVP, EE, EB, OSW or any other damn acronym you like, if you play the game how you like it and don't be a poo, I am sure you will be noticed and get the recognition you deserve. And please do remember, becoming VK/Mod isn't something that people genuinely seem to work towards. These players play the game how they like and sometimes they are picked by the developers. We all know that these choices aren't always 100% spot on in hindsight. But we can all agree that these players put their time into this game for their enjoyment and to improve the enjoyment for you. That's why VKs are positive role models and Mods are goddamn powerful Moody ️
Chocolate23, next VK at the least. I'm done with the Kezzer being a VK. Ashes would be cool, but apparently the devs don't appreciate spherical boobs, must be watermelon kinda people. As for mod, majority of the mod selections I hadn't heard of prior to Mod. Other than JEDI-MAESTRO, Mango, Slayerbob, and Avatar I never saw the others "active" in KaW socially in forums or WC.
@Kezzer ...who's arguing? Read the post again moron. Yes I agreed, was adding that a player who only forums off topic shouldn't be qualified.
@grizzy on page 5 or something. This isnt strictly true. VK are supposed to be model players. This doesn't directly translate to helpful.
Well if that's the devs representation of them then I guess you're right, I see them as helpful except the couple that shouldnt of got it anyway not something I would want to imitate.
