Battle List 2.0

  1. A rough unpolished idea.
    Feel free to add more to it.

    BATTLE LIST V2.0


    A new battle list which shows the players currently active and searching for players in battle list.
    This BL doesn't show the eb fairies or anyone who doesn't want PvP. It only shows the people that are currently looking For Some random PvP fun or were looking for it in the last 10 minutes.

    Why Do This ? We already have a BL

    Well The reason I came up with this idea is that majority of people don't want PvP anymore and BL is pretty dead.
    (By dead I mean it isn't being used as much as it should be in a "WAR GAME")

    This BL would only show players that are looking for some random PvP fun which doesn't stretch up into a long lasting 1v1 or a 1vClan.


    This will be as useless as the current BL

    Well No.
    Here's the catch, BL2.0 will come with rewards

    Why Rewards ? Go hit Eb you fairy

    Well we kaw players need rewards in everything. Any feature that offers some kind of rewards(no matter big or small) Is bound to be successful and popular.
    This above is the whole reason why EB's and B2b Events Are so much more successful than PvP.

    What Rewards Though?

    Well this can be decided by feedback from community and devs.

    I'll give an idea-
    For a Particular no. Of succesfull or fail att/steal/Scout/Assassinate actions on a particular person you get a reward

    Reward May range from- 5 Silver bars to 30 SB(variable)
    -A Horn of calydor(hopefully correct name)
    -5 to 10 nobility points
    -8 hrs PvE plunder spell Ranging from 5% to a crazy and rare 30%( Because WHY NOT ? and it's just 8 hours)



    Cons ?
    As of now I don't see any cons about this feature.

    Why again do u need this ?

    Well because I support changes, I like new things, good rewards, having a occasional PvP which doesn't last for a month of me being pinned by a guy with bunch of ALTs.

    This feature might give a new life to PvP aspect of KAW(because It Has Rewards) which we usually see people complaining about that PvP isn't what it used to be in FC or GAW.

    *NOTE* I recommend this BL 2.0 be given a fancy name and be started alongside the current BL. As there will definitely be a number of players complaining that they want the Old BL back and this new feature sucks.

    Although We all know it will be a pretty cool feature.

  3. Nice features, don't see why it can't just be applied to the current battle list, after all, it is a war game, no-one should care whether your opponent wants to be hit or not

  5. I think the idea of it is so you'll have a target that will hit back. Hitting faries gets boring
     
  6. True, but if there's rewards more people will do it, and fairies will have no choice but to start hitting back lol
     
  7. just add the damn rewards to PvP actions, BL doesn't get used because it's terrible and much better payout / blitz drops from searching through rosters.


    Just apply random rewards to Attack / steal in PvP, and fgs change player names in clan rosters when opted into PvP events.

    It's more like keep beating a person who doesn't even want to fight back rather than Start a fight with someone that Will Hit you back.
     
  17. Meh. Incentivized PvP was already one of the worst things to happen to KaW.

    Putting systems and rewards into every aspect of the game is counter intuitive. Reasoning: every system created has been exploited in some way. This will be no different.

    I see where you're coming from. But no support. People who need incentives to fight in a war game shouldn't be catered to more than those who play for the sole enjoyment of war.
     
  18. Cynder, it's more rewarding players that already do PvP for doing that. Think of it as evening the lack of balance between top tier ebs and hte, and PvP. The pay for PvP is terrible, much more risk and zero reward (other than satisfaction)
