A Leap Day (February 29) is added to the calendar during leap years. It occurs every four years and without it we would lose about six hours every year. This extra day makes the year 366 days long instead of the normal 365 days that equal a common year. So happy leap year and happy birthday to anyone that has a birthday on leap day.
What would happen if someone was born on feb 29? Wouldn't be a year old until the next leap year :lol:
