I'm pretty sure the point of it being on the weekend was for peeps to actually have the chance to join.

In other words, devs won't change it for one person.

Devs could change it up a bit. One event could have weekend PvP blitzes, the next a few days during the week or the next could have short and sharp 24 hour ones every few days.

 

I think the majority of people would rather PvP on the weekend so the devs won't change it.

 

There's no harm in trying it out once or twice. Participation could be almost as good as the weekend. Won't know until they try. Players may even purchase more xtals to keep up during weekday blitzes.
