Devs, I found LL wars fun at first but then as WC's get experienced they have noticed that keeping troops high and skimming the enemy is the better strategy which leads to just sitting for almost an hour and not really doing a lot of actions. Having said that I propose that you look into testing 30 minute LL wars to increase the excitement and require the strategies to be changed up or at least reduce the amount of time just sitting and hitting every 5 minutes. I currently find 1 hour LL wars to get boring after about 10 minutes into the war then get exciting again at the last 10 minutes so I figured this might make it more exciting and more fun and reduce the boring portion. I know I could be wrong so please support or no support this and lets see if the majority agrees with me. Happy KaWing. EDIT: If the wars were reduce the regen times and KO times might also need to be reduced.
4 hour should be fun, 24 would be way to much time, people would get stripped and forums would be flooded of butthurts
4 hour LL wars? I can understand 4 hour round, indi or primals but LL wars are just too slow IMO. Thanks the input, maybe I am the minority in this view; we'll wait and see.
So are you no supporting or did you change your mind at the end and are suppporting this idea? As for me, I'd say why not?
Devs don't like testing, they kind of just do it once and assume things will Never change. *looks pointedly at war times*
Blaming the war format itself is silly, there's little to no difference between LL and indi wars structure as pots/bfa/bfe/mith doesn't affect the amount of action in wars really. You want to blame someone blame all the people that made full ps1 rosters that sit and skim and tank spies. Those rosters then forced people to go with hybrid/tank rosters which sit and skim regens for 50mins. I'm not saying I blame these rosters, they're effective and they work, but if you want to change the excitement level of war they need to find a way to make mixed rosters viable again
