  1. Hi. Everyone loves polls. So i have a question for you all. Was bruce jenner deserving of that courage award? Or should it have gone to someone say like a military person who risks their life for our country. Or someone like a firefighter who selflessly dives into a burning building to save people?

  9. I have to say what Bruce/Caitlyn Jenner did was very brave however I do feel like there was a bit of bias towards this. More and more people are being forced to vote and even cast people in movies just because if they don't they get backlash. There have been multiple films which have received poor scores for having a lack of ethnic diversity in them even though the setting for the film would have seen purely white people. The same is true when it comes to awards now and if they aren't seen to be voting for certain groups of people they are named as sexist, racist and many other things.

    TLDR; people are getting too politically correct and that's the reason I think they voted for him/her

  12. Since, there are about 700,000 transgenders in the US. (according to Google's most recent source)

    If half of them converted to the female sex then would that mean that all of them should receive the woman of the year award?

  13. Should have a new poll: who should have gotten the Woman of the Year award?

    My vote is Taylor Swift. She has given much back to her fans and is a prominent philanthropist. Most of it may be good marketing, but honestly Bruce got the award to market himself.

  15. Glamour magazines Women of the Year selections are made by past honorees, so not necessarily the best judges, or the best award to recognize womens achievements.
