I was thinking, people worked so hard for equipment that has become all but irrelevant. Especially now, a player who started 5 months ago could effectively have as much bfe as others who have played for years and earned dozens of pieces of equipment now left to collect dust. So, I propose an idea that will make people feel less cheated for their past efforts. All the equipment that isn't "active" (or being worn, if I needed to explain that to you) would still provide 25% of their stats towards a players bfe. I can list many pros or cons to this but why not let the thread elaborate on the idea instead? My main concern is that years long veterans deserve to reap benefits from their past achievements.
Also on a related-ish note, when I view a players equipment page it would be nice to see their bfe added up. Its so tedious doing it manually and I do enjoy comparing my bfe to others, we all do (you know its true). And yes I know mine isn't much to brag about, I'm proud of it still. Not the point, get over yourself
That would be a good idea, players would try and upgrade all of their equipment instead of select pieces. But then all the lb players spending tons during events would be actually untouchable to players not in the lb.
On the other hand they pay wheelbarrows full of cash to have that equip. They should be able to benefit from it for more than a few months before the standard equip catches up. And 25% isn't quite as game-breaking as it might sound. Even casual players that have been around for years would have a very nice bfe. New players, frankly, should not be allowed to be as powerful with such significantly less effort... They can build cs faster than ever, but old players should have an edge with the equip they worked (and paid) to acquire.
No support. This would cause some people's BFE to be WAY stronger than necessary. Imagine the BFE of all the accts that continuously get top rewards in events. Their BFE would be ridiculously strong. I know they're strong anyway, but this just seems excessive.
And what would be wrong with them having a strong bfe they worked for it (no matter how much they paid they were still very active) so yes they should get an edge over someone who didn't work and pay for it
Well it would give those players who consistently participate in EE wars a great reason to continue. Maybe some idiot would spend all of their inferno from the current event on their Gold-Plated Greaves  With a little tweaking, I support this idea.
By participating in events that reward equipment, you're fully aware that it will likely be outdated with in a matter of weeks. They pay for it knowing the consequences. I agree that having so much equip just sitting there is pointless, but atm this is the state of the game. They've paid for the equip knowing what the result will be. We've asked devs to slow down which is what's needed. I'm hoping events continue without so much equip. We need something to do with excess equip. Not denying that. But 25% is too high IMO. On and btw, we've all worked on getting equip. Not just the people who spend. And having it outdated in weeks is annoying for everyone. However it gives us a lot more equip to play around with. I'd like to be able to do more with it. But as I said, 25% is too excessive. I'd prefer to trade it in for aqua and inferno or something else.
I'm just going to use my BFE as an example... My current BFE is 590M. 25% of all my other equip is 286M. Total is 876M. A quarter of all my other equip comes to almost HALF my total BFE. I don't have every single eb equip. I also don't have the top tier equip from events. And most of my equip is not maxed. Seems way too excessive.
Not sure how good this idea is but if we had to tweak the number why not make it 2%? Seems like 2% is the magic number with regards to bfe and bfa lol
25% may have been a bit much but it needs to be an amount that would make it worth chasing down missing EB/war equip and then dumping aqua and inferno and mith into it... Maybe 10% is more reasonable, but it would need to be enough to be worth the effort for new players to chase down equip while also giving benefit to those who already have the old equip. It just sucks having spent so much time on something that literally becomes completely obsolete, especially to those who spent time as well as money xD
5% seems reasonable. 2% also sounds good. It would reward long time players and give people more reason to use aqua and inferno on older equipment. On top of this more players would aim for higher tiers knowing that it would be beneficial in the long run and not just the short.
You should be able to add a building that lets you put all your old equipment in it so it's stored away properly. Like a level 1 shed or something.
