New War Format~Stronghold War

Not enough support so deleted idea for the majority concerned...i still say indi/round/primal ee wars will always be for easy to build exploits & folks who don't care for more encouraging rewards... have fun trying to change participation by continuosly asking for more rewards on the current formats... even tho its clearly been ignored on numerous posts over many years now XD

  4. lol sry, couldn't do much about the length, i tried to make it easy to understand for most so used alot of examples...basically the gist is create an ee where player's dont hit other builds but a clan stat pooled enemy bar to remove entire hansel/tanked, etc rosters from the ee

  7. Yeah pretty much except that bracket strength will depend on player size and outcome will be determined by higher activity

I do see a valid complaint in that uncatchable lb's will stay on top unless they get slowed down by osw...bad for the pve'rs/ee'rs but def promotes a reason to osw/pvp against the top players so worth it in the end as this is the only way any can catch them unless you are even more rich than them.
     
  11. How about there are 2 bars, one you attack, and 1 you assassinate. This bar is derived from the actual defense and spy defense of a roster. It would obviously have to be multiplied, maybe by 9 or 10, but this way, tanks are still useful. Ee warriors won't have to scrap builds.
     
  12. i was actually going to suggest that originally but i thought it doesn't solve any exploit issues so much as makes just another format every1 will complain about from having stacked rosters.

Atm alot of threads & posts are circulating the forums about increasing rewards to increase participation...even if this is done, which would be great imo, you'll still end up wit many not warring due to the stacked rosters & gap imbalances...this eliminates stacking therefore eliminates those complaints while keeping fewer of the ones that currently exist but i can see how the ease of such wars would also have players leaving ee/kaw for a better challenge...if there's a way to provide more strategy to this stronghold war system i'd be happy to hear it...i like the 2nd ass bar idea & perhaps you could imbalance the plunder gains from each side so coming out of wars wit larger plunder is part of the strategy or maybe while players are hitting it causes defense to be up meaning u'd have to time actions right to do more dam.

  15. OP, I like that you're trying to come up with new ideas. But the point of EE Wars is to war against other players. Fighting an eb that simulates players will remove what little fun is left in the EE wars. Yes, there will always be "exploits". Yes, the system will always be "flawed" in the eyes of many. But totally scrapping it just to replace it with another form of ebs? That's a no go.

    Just my input :) others may disagree. Appreciate the time you spent trying to find a solution though.
     
  16. its not a simulation of players, it will still be real players represented by Sbars, it'd be like a whole clan being given 1 massive player to hit wit no dts/dtw while the enemy hits your 1 massive player back, if you aren't active/fast enough to hit they will win.
     
  17. What I'm saying is, you're trying to make yet another war aspect of this game become an eb aspect... It will turn into "Who's the Best Fairy", rather than a fight between two rosters.

Also could make it so say a fee was applied in gold at the start of the war so your losing that gold instead of made up gold, then folks are hitting your Stronghold bar & you are losing cash at the same time if you lose... so its like having all your gold in a fort, lose the war you lose that and your ee.
     
  19. But your clan is getting hit back, it is a fight not a beat the buzzer deal, you lose and you lose rewards & ee & gold if you like.
     
  20. No support whatsoever. I would rather do indi war than eb war ? only possible way this could have any Pvp aspect is that you may want to pin the enemy roster before hitting the eb.. Thanks for taking time to make thread but I don't like the idea at all.
