I've found something out in pimd... Usually people have the money to hire back, so always look for allies and have another name in c/p! Then when they get mad and hire then try to farm, when you are on you can c/p that name and buy them
But sometimes allies is not just allies, atleast have courtesy to ask specially if its 1T above, what if that allies are so special and alts of someone, unless u wanna be torn between two lovers keep hire then
You don't have to ask and you don't have to tell anyone ever. The banner messages are a request no matter how strongly it is worded. Contact people outa courtesy if you want. Why is this even a thread subject? It's really a non issue. Frog is complicating ally buying. Him big dealing this subject has only caused more confusion. There you go frog legitimate scrutiny.
Did frog steal someone's Pokemon cards in LHL or what? They are coming out of the woodwork and making less and less sense
Just hire the allies.. Don't ask.. It's not that hard.. Courtesy ??? What ?????? But no one here even owns there own account... ATA owns ibobbafett not me.. So apply that theory to allies and everyone else here and you will soon realize they are nobody's allies.. Just accounts to bank money on.. If you don't want 2t out hire the most useless bomb.. If it gets hired away laugh.... U didn't own it to begin with... All this courtesy doesn't exist .. It's a figment of your own imagination as you really don't own anything here..
Lol it a non-issue for little small builds hiring allies in the billions. Who is gonna complain over a 20 B ally hire? However hire a 10T ally ( and there are well over 1000 now in that price range) without asking and often sparks fly. Have you seen Cella's banner? Do you think it is a non-issue with her? If hiring 10T allies is not part of your Kaw experience, then it's pretty pointless of you even commenting on this thread.
Agreed if you have never had a tril out on your account at one time, you can't really post an educated opinion
Some big accounts are moving 50-60T in allies a day. Hiring and selling take up a huge part of their time in Kaw.
A couple apocalypse members have commented on here saying all this is needless. Not just "noobs", unless you're referring to them as noobs as well... This is simple, if you choose to be courteous good for you. If you choose to hire without asking then that's okay too. You can't force people to accept what you think is the right thing to do because not everyone will play this game the same way.
There is too much gold out everywhere in kaw. The ally market is ridiculously inflated. I'm open 24/7 , I'm in osw, I don't expect a pm. If I get hit I don't have a meltdown over losing a few billion as I can make it up in one eb. It's embarrassing to see that this osw started over the ally market and now many on the side who supposedly support free trade are hiding behind pm for hire banners. When trying to bank trillions who has the energy to pm for a 600 bill ally? Not me
The numbers are relative to the acct. size. The length of time it takes a larger account to gain 1T in gold may be the same amount of time it takes me to earn 200bil. Disregarding my opinion as being irrelevant because I'm not the same size as some of you comes across to me as arrogant and elitist. What are you gonna imply next, maybe that your a better person because you have more allies? Based on what frog has stated in his opening post, he believes there should be a common standard for all of KaW. Which, if that's the case, my opinion would matter. Frog stated "I suggest we stop asking people to hire allies". Frog who exactly were you referring to when you used the word "we"? Was it only to people who have accts over 100mil? If that's the case KaW forums would be the wrong venue for you to post your suggestion.
Why is that? Ppl with 100cs have access to the forums. But as you can see from the above post, this is an issue many big LB players are concerned with. Indeed 4 LB players have posted here already.
I don't think 4 constitutes many, but yes, you're right they do have access to forums. So who is this "we" you're talking about? Is that only LB accts. if so you should communicate that. Because, from my perspective you look like an ass.
Yeah i'll support this...its about social etiquette & more equal opportunity across the board, i think it will reduce market inflation via increasing supply at the underpriced end which in turn reduces overpricing...it's fairly logical to assume people trying to hold onto underpriced allies are at fault for why there are too many op allies and that there are so many people even willing to buy their underpriced allies knowing it could result in a dispute.
I think unstandardised market pricing has become a big issue too, a few years ago most players would agree around 50bil per 1mil cs was a fair market price and you paid more as they start hitting mid-big accts sizes around 10m+ cs and more again for bfe/bfa bonuses, top lb's etc...nowadays prices vary from 10-100b for newbs with accts 5mins old and anywhere from 50-250bil per mil cs for accounts that dont have to prove their value anymore. I think if we adjusted the price to around 75bil per 1mil cs and had a big enough number of players agree & promote this etiquette we could stabilise the market again
@ 9TailedFox I think on the near-extreme low end the ally prices manage themselves naturally. Currently, tutorial stat allies (900 cs) only sell hot (less than 24 hour turn-around) if they have a spell on them. Any ally that breaks near 100 million gold (possibly a lower threshold in the millions) gets quickly volleyed up by the market to 1 bil gold (possibly near 1 bil if 900 cs or lower). 900 cs allies sit here except when bought for plunder/inflation in most cases. 1200 cs allies (600/600/150/150 and variants) will continue to sell up to a 2 bil ceiling, where they become overpriced. 2bil to 3bil, the value of stats to gold sharply rises, where slightly underpriced(or correctly priced) 3 bil gold allies are 75,000 cs +, usually defensively stacked stats are on these "upper end" kingdoms. Active new accounts that join a clan and show initial growth get volleyed between a wide variety of ranges for start-up money, depending on the clan and so on. Some active new accounts don't get noticed for a while (by multiple traders at the same time) due to the high number of 900 cs kingdoms in the low gold ranges to sift through, and so remain tragically underpriced. Both cases of active new accounts are slight outliers due to communication, not activity, being more of a factor here. In either case, once they break through the extremely small gold ranges, they'll be volleyed up naturally to their stats. -- All of this said, if substandard market pricing has taken over the higher ends of the ally market (ignoring people owning friends, clan members, and favorites causing unique inflation by overpricing those kingdoms), then I wish everyone luck in their trade negotiations and your standardization endeavor. Edit...sry frog...it was an uneeded quote lol Yeah, i agree, i didn't mention the extreme low end cos its a bit small time to fuss about but yeah its almost an independent market based on pricing in comparison to the higher end lol
Guys, don't quote long passages if the guys is right above you. Just write @Corinthian or something like that.
