This is for people to chat about the crumbling infrastructure of USA today. Our "land of the free" and the good old American Dream is sadly coming to a end What went so dramatically wrong? I know we have no gold and not a bean to our name but we have something left surely ? Everything I read is pointing to a complete collapse, I was recently looking at the debt we have accumulated. If we have a good 2000years we may be able to pay some of it off but not all. Our dollar is sadly worthless in reality And other countries are starting to wake up to what is gong on So my question to you is when do you think that we me finally collapse ? And what do you imagine our future will be like? Are we doomed to be the next Africa ?
How do you figure when we are sitting on one of the if not the biggest oil reservoir Had an economics teacher say that if we continue the way we are going it would take 100 years for the United States to fully collapse
Dont u love uneducated ignorant people like op lol I like how u took a swing on africa at the end too. U know Africa is not really the trash u c commercials trying to take ur money w sad pictures right. Im not saying its new york but its not all starving little kids n women. Do u also belive the middle east is all deserts n camels aswell I really hope op is trolling not really this stupid lol
We do not even sit in the top ten for oil reserves Canada even has more than us so not sure where you get this finding...I think you may be mistaken for world debt we are top on that one
America has too great of a GDP to collapse on its own. If push came to shove, they just chop off foreign aid and defense spending, and a bunch of government programs. Then they work on building infrastructure and jobs within. Technically shove has already happened, but they just raise spending caps and borrow more.
America would never stop 'defense' spending. Lmao we are still in wars and we can't even afford to take care of our veterans.
Debt is so immense that it equates to over 1million each person..it is impossible to pay this amount back it can only get worse, what if countries decide to go back to trading in gold? That would be the death of the $ and the end of our dream
Africa is a continent, not a country next thing you'll try and tell me is that Russians aren't Asian
Russians are Eurasians. Technically, Europe and Asia shouldn't be separate continents because of the definition of a continent. And why isn't Greenland a continent? It's bigger than Antarctica and Australia. These are important questions that the world ignores
I've been living outside the US for almost two months now. I feel like I can safely say that people back home, in the US, need to realize how great they have it.
What about the Russians further East? Why is Greenland so icy and Iceland so green? These questions must be moved to top priority!
I don't think anyone is denying quality of life in America. But really, to say that because there are worse places to live is a poor reason to not give a crap about further bettering ourselves. Probably why America only leads the world in 3 things now. Incarcerated citizens per capita, military spending, and the number of grown ass adults who believe that angels are real.
Ok I stand corrected. 4 things. But the vast majority of that money goes to 1% of our population. So really it's nothing to be proud of being slaves of an oligarchy.
But truthfully we are justice a service nation. Wish we had more manufacturing. Also, the american dream is as alive as ever. Low inflation rates (.2%?) And unemployment rates are positives
