So, devs caught on pretty quick about ppl asking/complaining about the length of the new eb. GREAT! They actually read forums! Only took them 2-3 days to rectify that "concern". Why can't we get the war system fixed? Have seen numerous good, if not great ideas, to do something, ANYTHING, to work towards it. From the current group organizing and helping to train newbies to EE/WC/ and track, to others coming up with totally revamped mechanics for wars. I know they're not going to generate the ton of revenue that your new pay to play eb will for you. You're a business after all and gotta get paid. We understand that. Well, most of us understand it. But COME ON DEVS! Throw us a bone here. We, as a community have thrown countless ideas at you. Some have done more then their fair share as players to work towards fixing wars. Some kind of acknowledgment towards the war community would do wonders for our outlook on your game.
To all those that have been working towards a fix to wars in one way or another, I at least, salute you and all your hard works. At least we have hard working players to look towards in hopes of doing anything to better the state of EE. If someone could get a few links together of the various EE suggestions and maybe the "WE OWN IT" thread so most of the EE suggestions are in one spot, make it even easier for the devs. I'm crap with forums stuff such as bb codes and links or I would. That would be great, probably fruitless. But great none the less
Lmfao My thoughts exactly Moose once said "Devs CANNOT distinguish battle list players for events".... Months later. Fixed Hundreds of good war suggestions. Either not implemented or implemented once and forgotten. 100 Nob eb needs a tweak.... Two days and "Here you go" Great to see consistency in RnD Everyday I feel like an idiot continuing to logon
Clan wars gain them 30$ Old wars generated even more. ASW generated 1000's of $$ It's just, 1 day of event makes them more than 1 season of EE.
Just to clarify, at that time we were not able to distinguish such actions. You'll notice it too many many months for this to happen. Changes to key game mechanics have a lot of potential problems and need to be throughly planned, tested, and executed. Things such as Epic Battle balance and duration are isolated instances making it much simpler. It's not as simple as just changing a single number, but it doesn't require any actual server or client changes. Wars are a tricky thing, as they end up touching almost every part of the game in some way. We do continue to look into solutions, and read through many that are presented on the forums.
Reading? Doing would be much better keep your customers happy and you might be able to salvage kaw after all but I don't think you want that.
I guess my point was that Events got time and recognition yet we've had 5 seasons of mediocre wars I know it's the people who circumvent the system that make a bad experience There are a group of players trying to rectify it (We Own It) Maybe reach around in their thread. My opinion is devs listen to much and not just produce the game they want That being said, they game the Devs want needs to be fun for all levels of players Allowing Build Complete accounts roam and war with much smaller accounts is very silly Put hardline restrictions on warring. Allow for very little cheating. But focus on clan wars Sanctioned Clan wars were instituted inside KaWs first year because clans were warring regularly, and they did it for fun. Idk the answer. Nor is it my responsibility to decide it. But it's obvious things need to change blah blah blah. I'm just rambling now
Maybe ata had all their positions for monkies filled it might help... Kinda hard to work out wars without knowing the economics oh how gold is transferred. Then again how many players would even understand the data structures used figure out the relationship between size and payout...
