I have recently started playing, have several battles under my belt already. I have been reviewing these "premium" battles, I couldn't help notice they all require real cash input. I would like to know if there is any way for new players like myself to obtain this powerful ring ? Or do I have to spend real cash ? It was advertised as a free game? I can understand paying should give advantage but to be exclusive for players who pay ? Also I and many players are small, I only do a fraction of the damage ( fail ATM) and earn a great deal less gold...wouldn't it be fair if the cost of the fragments was balanced ? And only those who use the fragments can attack this battle ? Or maybe allow me to have allocate someone to fight for me and I receive the gold ? I'm confused on how this is good or even viable for people like me. Nb I am familiar with pay to win aspects come hand in hand with such games, but pay to play ? Surely there was is a battle that drops fragments at the very least ?? It is not through lack of effort but lack of cash I am unable to play it seems.
Well, at your size I wouldn't be worrying about the premium ebs or the ring. You can't hit them. Do a few TFO's, grow! Move on to T3,T4 epic battles and then Scragg EBs. That's how most of us grew/grow. There's a stickied EB guide! The Scragg EB's pay almost as good as HTE!
Knight you have failed to recognise or acknowledge the issue I bring forward, even if I was 1000x the size I currently am, I would still be unable to participate in this premium battle. That ring is very powerful advantage and is exclusive to paying players? I cannot see how it is advertised as free to play. The benefit of paying obviously should be noticeable I do not dispute that, however to make this event exclusive to payers I have never seen in my many years a gamer.
I bumped my thread for you, it's on AT. Should help you understand how income on a game works. Understand that the game needs income to stay alive. You want things handed to you? Not going to happen. If the premium ebs were free, it wouldn't be premium. If HTE was free, it wouldn't have any value! You pay, you get more. This game has always been free to play. Give my thread a good read, I'm not sure why you're worried about the ring when you're not Lowlands BC. Unless you're and alt trying to troll. Ps : If you do build complete, there's a plethora of available equipment! Which can be obtained through ebs, wars, events and even purchased from the store.
I think the new eb is cool and all but it seems nobs have stopped dropping from quests... Anyway you can grow just fine without having to pay. Join a good clan and you will get to do the high payout ebs every once in awhile, players drop seals for their clan all the time
I had a brief view of your bumped post, fails to even address anything with zero statistics and limited feedback a simple pontification at best your personal mantra perhaps, regardless of how strongly you may believe in your post it actually has zero relevance to the subject at hand. Free to play and "limited access" are two drastically different things. And at no point did I imply that the game should be free. All games operate in the similar way no new players no future. If these "events" which give a huge advantage are exclusive to payers it is too unbalanced. I have played many games for many many years and when the gap is the too large it eventually becomes the death of all games. Dispute this all you wish for it is incontestable as is a simple fact. You worry about profit margin ? Are you serious ? These type of simple relatively primitive games are by no means expensive to maintain and keep running. Most likely a day of this event paid the years overheads the rest is pure gravy. Back on topic .. I wish to know how can people take part in the event or is it simply pay to play if so false advertising please change advert.. Or was that the only reason the "free" fragments were issued?
Have you taken a look at the new EB? ZTA has a difficulty level between Scragg battles and Jorathe battles if I'm right. Why? Because new players with 100K attack aren't meant to hit it. You seem to have an abysmally poor understanding of the game mechs, and I don't blame you for that. If you're as new as you claim to be. Back to the point. A new player wouldn't bother about ZTA in the first place. There's a system. Anyone who's new and looking to play, would start off growing. Boom, we have our different tiers of EB's for that. When they're able to hit HTE, they're are various non paying substitutes available also! Ergo, Jorathe series and Scragg. A decent family clan does pop a few HTE's occasionally. So even a player who's hell bent on not paying a dime is bound to get a few HTE's regularly. Not to mention the free HTE's I see on the WC. If you're really looking to pay, 30$ a month is enough to get a month worth of HTE, if not lesser. Depends on the clans and the pass offered. An understanding of the game would help, there is a non paying alternative for everything! Take a look at our LB clans. Quite a few in the top 20 that don't do HTE, but free to play EBs. I'm not sure where you get your facts from, so I deign to reply to that.
Yeah, it's exclusive to paying members. It's a way to get more gold faster and easier which makes you grow faster. The benefit of this eb on particular is that it doesn't cost as much as an hte per person. If you're looking to actually get the ring and upgrade it then you're gonna have to spend money on it. It's free to play game and you can get all the normal armor from ebs and even mithril equipment, but there are certain promotions and events where if you want something you're going to have to spend money.
I've heard that the daily limit of nob purchasing has been removed and is now uncapped. Is this true?
That you fail hits on the EB means you need to grow! And the ring ain't all, it's just an equip. There will be more and better rings in the future, that's how this game works.
And maybe this is the first free game you downloaded on the App store. But go check out more free games, most require cash in order to fully play the game - they just say it's free.
To answer your question, you don't really need to pay for the ebs. If you save the nobs and xtals saved from quests then you will be good. Alot of people hit quests for their nobs, although it takes a while to drop.
Ahhh I see looks like we are getting somewhere... I am more of a PC gamer so this is a very new concept to get use to, I'm too use to free meaning free lol oh well let's continue hopefully there will be a event for all one day
No event or promo is exclusive to" pay to play". Most of all events are" free to play" but have the ability to spend real money to gain an advantage, as it should be. Promos are the devs way of paying for a soon to be released update, add-on, lands etc. There's always a method to their greedy madness. I have spent a total of $6USD on this game in the near 5yrs I have played, so as a "free" player. Your questions and criticism is void. All you have to do is try, if you want something handed to you, go play PIMD
Yes indeed, 5 years free play you say..Well it is clear what effect that has had upon you, in dark contrast to those paying players the evidence is clear for all to see. Like a starving child with the vultures eagerly waiting looking both thin, tired and exhausted in comparison to your brothers fed only on the finest cuts of beef and slurping down the protein shakes and fighting lions, the starving child unable to even fight of the flies. The cider lifestyle compared to the champaign one is clear from the clothes you wear, like a beer stained white tank top compared to the finest bespoke suit no ladies are looking at the bum in the corner for he is the free player of kaw.. You rightfully yet jovially say try another game, wonder how many already ventured out into the darkness in search of something they can compete in? It is in human nature to want to compete and in some way win.
