eewars: state of primals

  1. I don't understand?

  2. Make the rewards nice enough and people will...(or do you enjoy these rehashed hunts)

Having said that, I think people would hate 99% of it...but they would do it anyway.

I think that's really sad that wars are so broken because I think it's a system that has the greatest chance of long term success for the game as a whole.

  3. Events are OK gets me 40k bb each time just playing the game that I would play normally anyway.

A lot do Indi rewards are fine.

  4. If your intentions were to match a similar clan in cs, then I respectfully take back my comments. But if Dotb is really in the "We Own it" group why are u still rostering big when D1, Pervigo Neco, GP, The Uprising, P3 and several others never war (P3 on occasion) over 750mcs?
Why is this usually taken in a defensive manner? I am not discrediting your warriors or Dl, Dotb as a whole. The majority of warriors in Dl,Dotb, etc. are some of the best.
    -Back to the point-
Just saying, why not roster at 700-800mcs? If that's what the few clans (who still do primals) are left use?

    100% Agree

  6. Too few leaders n too many mercs.
Loyalty is a rare commodity for EE nowadays. IWar shows loyalty is useless.

  7. I think everyone is in the same boat when it comes to these ee problems.

I have been there rostered when dotb matched some micro-clans. The clan isn't laughing happily as though it's a good thing.

They know it isn't. No one is blind to the fact that these mis-matches turn small clans off to warring. People act as though dotb doesn't have the brains to see the long-term picture.

A couple % more plunder bonus for a few hours (till the next war) isn't worth losing the EE war arena for good. It's the reason we play kaw.

  8. Agree

I think we all know that this game will b around as long as it can continue to bring in new players and keep both old and new players

Good competitive wars is the only win-win solution.

I advocate for good primals though I dun do primals because it helps sustain the game in the long run. I've played over 5 years and prefer not to see this game run into the ground.

But if devs can't create a system of fair wars in primals - then I would vote they just do away with them altogether

  9. At the rate of participation its not looking good that clan wars will survive.
Idk but after many many months there seems to be no changes forthcoming.
Its a bad omen if nothing else.

  10. I agree - it appears imo that if devs dun implement most my recommendations (my recommendations are reasonable) - any communication from them regarding saving clan wars is just empty words lacking sincerity

Things to make primal and indi wars better:

    - harsher penalties for cheaters
    - disabling selling pots or droppin/sellin allies in war
    - blunting ps/ps1 with new spy defense pots to create more balenced war rosters rather than spy dominated rosters
    - keep ps (cheater) from staying open all war by exponentially increasing their gold loss when they have gold out so they go dtw much much faster

Things to make primal wars better

    - a set tiered system for primals; each tier having a set cs range; this means u need to strategize for what tier you want, create a roster that meets that tier cs req

Things to make indi wars better

    - balence the number of spy builds on each roster. U can do this by balencing each of the 4 categories when creating a roster rather than balencing cs

  11. @brevity obviously they can't win without a huge advantage. And they aren't in any "we own it" group to help. Just to keep eyes on people

  12. @anna I think your being stupid today... Dotb casts big no matter who casts. Simply because they need the advantage. Truth hurts

  13. Need the advantage for what? You act like they are sitting here scheming underhanded ways to cheat wins. It's a collection of people who like to war and happen to be good at it (as would be expected from people who war so often).

This is a clan who joins clan wars against the sh masters. That's asking for/guaranteeing multiple losses, just for the chance at pulling off a surprise win! You don't do that if your only objective is to win at any cost.

You act like they are idiots who would intentionally trade away the future of their favorite Ee style for a few cheap and unsatisfying wins.

I really do love you rr, but you're dramatizing the issue. Just stop with the weird conspiracy theory already, and cut them a break. 

  15. I said I would be putting an email together to ATA based upon you feedback. This is the content of this email. Thank you to all who contributed..........

    Dear ATA

After a series of email exchanges with your colleague, Mike, I have been asked to submit suggestions to improve the war system for both Primal and Individual Wars. I opened this up to my clanmates and the Kawmunity and this is the result.

    1) As previously mentioned, the matchup system for Primal Wars is inadequate. Currently matching clans of huge cs differences. The solutions suggested for consideration to address this are:-

    a) Currently clans match 1st to 2nd 3rd to 4th signed (I'm not sure how true this is as this is another person's idea) Instead introduce cs range matchup with a tolerance of /- 10% and no build matching restrictions. Just cs.

    b) a tiered war system (I like this idea) Where there are tier ranges when no clan can war outside of that range. ie 0 - 4 mil cs players (eliminating SH used in larger range wars and where new players can learn how to war and to progress through the ranks) 5 - 24 mil 25 - 49 mil 50 - 100 mil and 100 mil and over cs players. Something like that. This way clans who cast for war pick a bracket they want to war in. There is also less room to exploit as with cs range, You could have 10 huge and 5 small players for instance. So making it a build range is better. Noob War tier would not require xtal as they would have a war xtal allocated upon casting only to be used in that war. This is to encourage more to war. This can be extended to next tier if felt appropriate but possibly limited to 2 in a week. More wars than that xtals must be purchased.

    c) Hit restrictions are mostly off. Introduce more Restrictions on wars so dtw and dts messages are more frequent which will discourage clans casting statless or low stat players.

    2) improving player experience. There are a lot of seasoned players who still enjoy warring. Introduce ways to improve their war experience.

    a) Increased Mith payouts or randomly select warriors for double Mith drop.

    b) Have a tab incorporated into the Kaw platform to be able to see all things EE related. Past results. Most plunder. Most kos. Most defences won. Like a centralised database of all things EE so all can see results across all clans instead of having to go to individual clan to see results and statistics.

    c) A betting system for Wars. Purchase a betting chip to have the chance of winning Mith based upon the odds. This way those who don't war can get involved and earn Mith even by not warring. This will appeal to those in osw or who enjoy pvp but cannot war.

    d) How about a Warrior of the War award? All warriors can vote for a single warrior who may have been a great WC or Tracker. Or was a great meat shield taking numerous incoming for the team? Or gave their own time in putting together a great roster? They get their name colour changed until the next war for example. Maybe their xtal back?

    3) War Penalties. Many of us have had bad experiences in wars and are fed up of the warriors who do not take warring seriously. So here are some suggestions:-

    a) Shattered Sword. This is currently awarded if inactive and prevents the warrior from casting WOC for 3 days. This is fine for a first offence. This should be increased for subsequent offences. So 2nd offence a week. 3rd offence a month. 4th offence Perm War ban. Something along those lines. This should also be extended to not just inactives but also to those who merely hit a few times then go inactive to try to avoid Shattered Sword.

    b) PS opening. Selling pots, having gold out, should be penalised. You should be able to see who has lost how much gold at the end of a war. Being able to see war stats per player would be useful too. Not just how many successful hits they had but how much incoming. How much gold won. How much gold lost. This would make things clearer to War Commanders when selecting rosters who their best Warriors are.

    c) Ally Hires. This should be locked once match has been made. No ally hires at all, even from opposing clan.

Ok so there's a few suggestions to keep you going. I would be interested to hear from the Developers their feedback on the above.

    Yours in Kaw

  16. See I told you you weren't the best for the job

  17. That's why she asked for help...

You had the opportunity to contribute...so did you?

Or is a random unsupported comment the extent of your ideas...?

  18. Longer wars and scrap primal and bring back round and fix that yeh I contributed but like I said a collective voice from dotb is useless.

  19. Ah ok cool! I can't argue with a fixed round war...! Hell anything reasonably fair that people could confidently build towards would be better than the current imbalances.

And while I agree with the sad fact that it'll probably fall on deaf ears, I applaud the effort.

  20. @Ana

Still waiting for u to answer my 2 questions, since u took the initiative to respond on Dotb's behalf.
