Land Completion Bonus.

  1. Hi everyone, thanks for forum hopping to this thread. Without further adieu, here's my pitch:

    A Plunder bonus! Keep reading. -.-

    Heres what i think is a problem -
    With all 100 lands available, players rush to have: just enough highlands to unlock hoarfrost lands, and just enough hoarfrost for the unlock of abyss lands. Unlocking all lands in each tier before progressing is dust in the wind.

    Solution as I see it -
    When a player completes a given set of the 25 lands they get a permanent/impermanent plunder boost. (Depending on feedback and Dev cooperation of course)

    Example unlocks 1:
    Complete highlands: 2% perm plunder boost .
    Complete hoarfrost lands: 4% perm plunder boost.
    Complete abyss lands: 6% perm plunder boost.

    Example unlocks 2:
    Complete highlands: 5% plunder for 1 week
    Complete hoarfrost lands: 10% plunder 1 week
    Complete abyss lands: 15% plunder 1 week.
    (Note: bonuses would not stack if you waited to do all at the same time)

    This is just my idea on incentives to give people a reason to finish sections of lands before progressing onto the next and completely discarding the previous area until it's the last resort. These are not numbers much different than a blood rains bonus so I feel they are fair examples. There would be a notification and it would show on the land unlocked badge.

  2. I would prefer a permanent pvp plunder bonus or a kingdom strength bonus. Then it's useful and worth working towards, but won't necessarily be just another way for the rich to get richer.
     
  3. My thoughts were the same breezy. It's more targeted towards the builds still working on hl and hf more than abyss. We all remember when we were small and how tough it was to grow, and as this gap between new and old grows bigger, this would help them grow a little bigger.

    At the same time it doesn't give lb and other huge builds a chance to pull away insanely either
     
  4. no support, already get bonus cash plunder from events included for eb and pvp determined by which event u do. Then there also br bonus that gives u bonus plunder, also winning wars helps you get plunder bonus. Not to mention crux chests you get from events too. You have all those options already no need to make everything about plunder

  6. Wouldn't be a bad idea honestly, maybe a %2 bonus to stats
    Example lowland complete 2% attack, hl land complete 2% spy bonus, hf build complete 2% attack bonus & abysmal land complete 2% spy bonus. They would stack and give incentive to grow without ifg setting plunder bonuses.

  12. Yes... Sure, LB has played for >5 years but how many LB players are there? How many more mids are there?
     
  13. The top 50 lb could quit and 99% of kaw wouldnt catch up. Not even the lb 50 spot for a really long time. And that is spending serious cash.

  16. It is very rare to see super active accounts that are rapidly becoming BC within one year. However, it IS very easy to grow nowadays with all these HTE clans. A few dollars spent, you'd grow 3x the speed you could for a few days.

    Drop a few more bucks, you get more days to stay... It's super easy

    This is only marginally less terrible than the idea of bonus plunder. Instead of boosting lb players' plunder, it'd boost their stats. Either way, it's crappy. It doesn't reward growth, it rewards those who have already grown.

    The fact that you think mids can catch up shows your noobiness. Mids can never catch up to lb... it's impossible.
     
  18. It isnt rare. It does not happen, period.

    The people you are trying to catch up to have been doing nothing but hte since it came out. They are still doing it.

    Its not a gap that separates us from the top lb, its an ocean.

    And when people refer to the lb, most of us are talking about the ally lb.

    Besides, lb 50 for battles is over 800,000 successful troop atcks.
     
  19. Hmm I see all the points for sure, I didn't look at it from a large build perspective, only from about 5 mil cs to 30 mils cs honestly
