ATA needs to change their game NOW.

  1. It's a well known fact that players of KaW buy Seals of the Damned to gain profits from the cash cow of the game or buy the Whatchamacallit from the marketplace because you and your own clan get a sweet little profit on EB's that have "H" "T" and "E" exclusively in this order during events, but you shouldn't, and the devs need to make changes if they want KaW to survive.

Now before you ask, yes, I have bought seals before, and to be honest, it was during a time when I was addicted to this game, and wanted to see myself grow, like most players want to see themselves grow, but now that the KaWcaine has worn off, I think that it's time to expose the ridiculousness of the purchases you can make in this game.

Let's start off with the cold hard truth. Players can progress through KaW in two ways, either the vanilla way which is not buying ANYTHING with real money (at the very most is ONE seal every few months) or the LB way, in which they buy SoD's so much, that by the time the month ends, their bank accounts are emptier than a Round War. KaW should be encouraging both types of gameplay, but instead, they only lean towards the spenders. Now I know that this is already common knowledge and mobile devs do it all the time, but I think it's time to look at it from a logical standpoint.

Let's look at present day KaW, they are currently in a little bit in a pickle because new players aren't trying the game, and once they do get into the game, they don't stick around because basically, KaW says "Hey, I know you're new and want to do the best you can, but here's a crappy tutorial, hopefully you buy our SoDs to learn the more complex features of the game, because you aren't strong yet."

And I know that KaW is taking small baby steps to make sure newbies stick around, by putting in a Newbie spell to earn more gold for a limited time, but after that, they are on their own.

In my opinion, KaW should have the noob spell on until you get to a certain CS; let's say 2mil, then the spell wears off and you pretty much know the fundamental basics of the game.

I think KaW should understand that there are two ways to make decent money from their game. A) To keep it as it is and give all the glory to the players who spend money on 90+ seals every day, or B) Give all players an equal chance to play, and the new players will become big and since they like the game, will buy ATA's products. It makes logical sense.

The fact that they aren't implementing a method similar to this is mind boggling and they are frankly shooting themselves in the foot. Basically the LB is synonymous with "Players Who Spend Too Much on KaW"

And the sad reality is, unless ATA is shown that the method they are using is not efficient enough, they are going to continue to make the same stupid mistakes over and over again. Why do they make the same events, it's because we spend money on it and grind, and ATA sits their with their hands in their pockets and laugh.

I will leave you with this question; when was the last time you TRULY had fun in KaW?

  2. If you did ebb spell to 2mil cs I would make a sh and keep it at 1.8 and build massive bfa with 2x ebb payout

  3. Nobody is MAKING you pay

  4. Nobody buys 90 seals a day

  5. It wouldn't be a massive advantage like in HTE, but it would be enough to get a new player started.

And by the way, 2m CS was just an example.

  6. Look at the LB. How do you think they got to the top?

Sidenote: Please don't type in separate posts like that, I'm trying to keep this thread spam free. :)

  7. Maybe without 90 seals a day? They seal yes but most have been playing for 4 years and have continuously paid throughout the 4 years and that's why they're there

  8. They are not forcing you to buy anything , The low Lands are open, is real easy to créate a SH build today... Oh and most big clans guess what their doing free TSG, AFF... To grab gold... HtE is just for who ever wants a little bump in The game.. This game is moré than just EB, it Was a community .. And maybe guess what community changing.. Now Ppl with credit cards hanging out with other people with money in their pockets doing HTe like crAzy... is mess up.. Reading their glass door, looks like The 3 owners are gods that dont take a look at their game any moré... They just take The prize and forget The community they created by accident... Theres real people with real human issues behind every device ... Lets not forget that

  9. Why does ATA need to change their game?

It is exactly how they want it.

  10. I have fun everyday when I log into law and talk to my friends and family.

  11. If people didn't spend you wouldn't be playing I dont see anything that needs changing except ee.

  12. The game is dying and the devs know that. They're trying to milk as much money as they can from it until it's dead like fc.

  13. I have said similar to this so many times.
    Falls on deaf ears.
I'm glad they changed the advertising images in App Store and removed the 100% free logo or uk trading standards would have had a field day in their next blitz.
A crackdown is happening as the trend for dlc is spiralling out of control.

Whilst the appeal of fast cash may appeal to devs, kaw has lasted due to its prior commitment to social aspects.

The change has made the game more toxic and brought out more selfish play style in my view than we had 3 years ago.

The plus is a lot of the bully mentality has gone. It's just been replaced with a give me now attitude.

Personally I spent more before hte than I would now. Exactly for those reasons.

No we don't have to spend. But you cannot really keep up with events or even build and subsequently wars without spending now.
I hope that changes to keep more if the community playing and socialising to keep this community growing and here for at least another four years.

  14. This game is dying, give or take. It's already commonly known that it can't be brought back to it's original glory.

Devs are aware of this. Instead of trying to bring the game back, they decided to keep it alive and get as much money as they can out of it before it's dead.

Within a year this game will die, go figure. Unless ata has a miracle, this is the way it's going to be.

  15. At this point i am just waiting for the end, whenever that comes. Dozens of feedback threads have been made, none have been listened to. Why still try?

  16. People were saying that when I started playing.

  17. People will always say the same thing until the servers are shut down.

  18. True, but we got time, Ain't no way in hell kaw a shutdown an move us to pimd. lol they'd need another game to compensate us on when it does happen, kinda like they did with fc an gaw. Gave a cheap care package an a badge.

  19. Sorry, I misused the word "force" in the op. It is a very strong word. Let me edit that last bit out.

Everyone says on this thread that this game is dying, and while my opinion on that is neutral, I stated what the devs need to do to keep this game around longer and also to keep their salaries longer.
