Don't you ever get confused who is involved when an OSW breaks out? Want to know when an OSW starts, or what cf terms each clan has? Well this idea of mine could be of use. We all know what the "WAR!" review page looks like, with length, roster locked/unlocked and min clan size for upcoming wars, such as the ASW min player rank of 10k. Here's what each of the categories would be: LENGTH'Till the END!Or until, you know, one side surrenders... SIDES AND ACTIONSThis would be as usual. The participating clan names and their successful/unsuccessful action counts. FORFEIT ONLYThis would show the CF Terms of each clan, and the fact that this war would only end when one side forfiets and agrees to their opposition's chosen CF Term. CF TERMSUpon decleration, these would be agreed on by the admins in each clan. These could be giving the opposing side x SoDs, Xtals, maybe even a few propacks which would be given randomly to anyone on the opposing side. If the recipitent were to already own the propack, they would recieve the nobility that the propack costs on PC.Maybe one extreme could be that the losing clan MUST disband. The amounts specified, in theory, would lengthen or shorten the length of the war, as the other side would not consider it reasonable enough. INITIATION/DECLERATIONObviously, as this is a large war, only the owners of the clans may accept/decline. If the owner of either side were to decline, they would be forced to agree with the opposition's chosen CF Term. TL;DR: Make an OSW official by providing a details page and forcing it to be an actual war that can be found in the "upcoming/ongoing events" page, with cf terms included. Not hating, but you don't understand the concept of OSW very well. What does the O stand for? OFF system war. That means something not regulated by the devs, you are trying to give rules to something that by definition has no rules.
Why not make it OFFICIAL system war then? I see what you mean, but being unofficial is NOT the point of an OSW
The whole point of an OSW is that it is off system. Nobody knows what is happening because that is how it is supposed to be. Successful actions can be tracked, outsiders hit all the time in OSWs, making the whole roster idea go up in flames, and lastly, OSWs are beef between clans, or in todays case, alliances. They don't care about publicity, or who knows the "winning" side. Tides turn all the time. If you want to know more about an OSW, join one.

I understand what you're saying. But then what about secret alliances. Moles. Don't let them reject the war. 1 clan initiates. The other must accept cf terms or war. And then, what about counter cf terms. It's a good start, I guess. Just needs more thought.
I liked it until you got to the part where players can't leave or get kicked out of the clan. Many wars last 6 months to a year. There are a couple of OSW's about to enter their 2 year mark. Durning this time many players would like to EE. Visit event clans, visit friends clans, switch back and forth between family clans. Also, if you find a mole, you would want to kick them.
that's the stupidest thing ever lol ... why pay to receive a cf... thats called extortion and from what I know it's banable.
I also wish there was a way to keep a more legit score in osw. But there are way too many factors to make it feasible. In the end, the CF is the only goal that matters.
