moving the decimal point. Making numbers manageable again

  8. Let's be honest so many players would be confused and would cry about it for months and quit because they don't understand the new numbers.
     
  9. I always thought the big numbers were just ATA's way to teach American people about the true size of their foreign debt... ;)

  12. Good idea moose, I'd support that, also why would almost a million spies do like 400 damage to some skeletons while loosing around 34k spies in the process.
    Can we multiply the damage done by all troops/spies by 1k and multiply the values for each bar by the same amount. Just to make it realistic

  17. Divide the lot by 1,000 will help make numbers more user friendly. In practice, devs will need to tweak the values of some smaller pots to keep it reasonable (rounding).

    Their would need to be some more material adjustments to the ally value increments as the initial 30-40 volleys would need adjuatment into values that become whole numbers and the ally tax made sense.

    Servers would need to be taken down while adjustment occurs to prevent arbitrage risk. So lotsa warning.

    Eb's in progress would need to be suspended...and maybe add an hour to their deadline so clans arebnit disadvantage by uncertain downtime period.

    There would be tweaks needed in quest gold to.

    Actually a lot of work for a simple change.

    Support the idea as a "want", however i am not sure devs will want to do this much work for something that might not win new players.

    A couple points:

    1) New allies could still start out at 10,000 after the devaluation of the gold coin, since the early volley below 10 million raises very little money and is more of a pain for experienced players trying to help noobs.

    2) Guides in the forums would need to be updated and adjusted. ATA should take the lead on some of the basic guides like land and equipment anyway. These are a good resource to new players and could help the future of the game of they were updated and managed by ATA.
