no·mad ˈnōˌmad/ a member of a people having no permanent abode, and who travel from place to place I had recently made a thread titles "Bidding.” I had the idea of being able to bid gold on the 2015 ASW and earning double or 1.5 the gold you bet if you win, and .5 the gold bad if you lose. Anyways, we used to be able to bid on the Nomad wars by buying arrows of the team we thought would win. Since it seems the dev will not implement my previous bidding idea, I have come up with a new one. We all know that only the top 10,000 players overall may sign up for the ASW. Out of the 10,000, only the top 1,600 will be chosen. These top players get fame and glory, and an achievement recognizing their participation and/or winning of the ASW. Combining my bidding idea with this ASW idea got me thinking, since we were able to bid on the Nomad wars, and probably won’t be able to bid on the ASW, what if we brought back the nomad wars? My idea is this. The top 10,000 players will not be allowed to participate, because they already have their own prestigious war called the All Star War. The Nomad wars would strictly be for people who are not ranked on the overall leaderboard, like myself, and players who have above 2 million combined stats. This idea brings a number of new possibilities, we could bring back the bidding on these wars since they are the smaller version wars of the ASW. We would keep the bracket style. There would be awards for participating, making it to other rounds, and winning the Nomad wars overall. Players who win would also maybe get a less noticeable emoji next to their name like the ASW winners do. The Nomad wars would be like the ASW, it would be an indi with a maximum roster size of 100, not 200. The matchups are the same as the indi war matching, it would be 3 hour wars, not 6, there would be 16 clans competing, and xtalls are limited to 1 per person. Only 1 account per ip address may be entered. Players who have previously been war banned, even for 3 days and not permanently will not be able to sign up. This concludes my idea. Tl;Dr Version -Nomad wars for players above 2 mil cs and not ranked on the overall leaderboard. -Somewhat like the ASW wars. -Winners and participants get a prestigious award, and winners get a less noticeable emoji next to their name. -Players who have been war banned even temporarily cannot compete. -Bracket of 16 teams. -One account per ip address -Bidding on these wars is allowed -Cobra, out.
One account per IP address? Once upon a time, something called a proxy was invented. And what about less tech savvy siblings that play KaW in the same house? Only one gets to play?
i support the idea of gambling in any form, i cant help it i like watching people bet all their stuffs and then complain that the system is rigged when they lose. I just cant get enough of that. However i reject the fact that the devs wouldnt implement your idea...you posted it in forums one week prior to the start of the wars, it was a fine idea but you couldnt possibly think in that little time that it would get implemented.
I agree cobra if we cannot get a smaller cs ASW then at least think about bringing back the nomad wars those were great and betting is fun in all capitals of the world so i too SUPPORT THIS IDEA.
