This thread contains lots of links, but also holds general information needed to be successful. ___________________________________ Starting Out/The Right Clan As a new player, you need a nice clan to teach you how to play, help select your style of buildings and gameplay, and learn the game. What is a clan? A clan is like an alliance or group that you can join and do things called Epic Battles(we will talk about those later). This is a WONDERFUL guide if you're new and need to find good players to teach you the game. ___________________________________ Epic Battles Now, I know you guys are like, Emeth, what are you talking about? Well, an epic battle(or eb for short) is an event that you and your clan mates have to attack and defeat. At the end you will get a plunder bonus(extra gold). Two guides you should read to understand these are these two Epic Battle GuidesChocolate23's Epic Battle Guide and Wulf's Epic Battles (PvE) Guide these will tell you information about all the epic battles you may(and will) encounter. ___________________________________ Our Language and The Almighty Handbook In KaW we have a variety of slang terms that would be great for you to know, so refer to this thread Slayerbob's Modern Day KAW Handbook: REVAMP this is also great handbook that holds all the information you need to know about KaW itself. ___________________________________ Build Choices! One of the most important things in this game is buildings. The type of buildings you have decide the type of gameplay and style you will experience. There are three basic build styles: Attack(has more attack buildings), Spy/Hansel(has more spy buildings), and Hybrid/Balanced(has an even or near even mix of both attack and spy buildings).
