Lmao about the tap on a screen being hard work. And bad idea that lb should get same payout for cost than the normal players. Ok lets discuss this in a rational manner. No tantrums or meth pipes please. Now shoppers A,b,c,d,e-Y go to a supermarket. They all spend ( for arguments sake ) $1 dollar on a tin of beans. Now we have shopper x that comes in and spends $1dollar on a transaction. But is given 2 tins of beans. Now I don't know about you but if I were customer a-y I would be pretty angry that excluding any sales or set expenditure to obtain a discount that one player gets preferential treatment for a cash value. If the supermarket down the road sold the identical beans for $2 dollars each, they would go out of business pretty fast. A new player comes along and sees that their seal xtal or nobs only purchase a limited amount of that tin of beans and they will look for a rival supermarket that sells a product a fair and reasonable price. I'm this case for example. Think clash of clans. Sales are high. Players get the same amount of gold or whatever purchased regardless of size. As such it's profits stay high. With the consistent upgrades that ever further the gap. The expense difference has become an issue when you see a player who has played here longer gets double what you get for the same expense in real cash. Quantity should offer a discount. Size should not give extra in a game that is economy driven and that massively growing divide is further Damaging both the game and allies availability. It also prevents a lot of players I have spoken to from spending as they deem to be the equivalent of half a pint for the price of a full pint. Can't blame them there. The perk of growing a large kingdom is always that you cannot have as many win against or even hit you. You overpower them. It should not affect real cash purchases.
I've posted my argument in a few places. So why not one more. It creates a false algorithm in this game. Titan_God proves to us that the opinions of the community really amounts to nothing. They judge and gauge things by numbers placed on a chart. HTE as it stood was well and fine. Though, it doesn't just stand as a premium eb that helps you grow quicker or one that allowed your clan to build up fast strip funds. With Hoarfrost and Abyss lands out, HTE has departed itself from the other epic battles as the only EB mids can do to keep up with a competive build for OSW and EE. The endless tiers in builds complement this. With HTE going from an eb that helps quicken the pace to one that you must run of you wish to stay competitive has degraded the game. That and it has ran off a lot of great and fun players who just could not afford to keep up in this game. Furthermore, every PvE event forces you to use HTE, as well as xstals, to get in the leaderboard. Though, if all you are looking for is that Tier 5 reward with 40,000 bronze bars worth nearly 1trillion in gold (900bill) then you would be forced to drop seals and run fast HTE to make it. Especially if you can't circulate the big free EB's fast. - which only a hand full of clans can do. Otherwise you will be xstaling to get 2,500 skulls (flowers, pixie dust, whatever) for 25,000bb Which means, if you don't use HTE, your best bet is, in this event, all you are getting is the 1k achievement and 10k Bronze Bars. This creates and supports the GAP in builds and income between players. What that will end up doing is collapsing the bottom half of that GAP which will in turn kill this game because there are far too few in the top half to make this game interesting. HTE's issue is not HTE. It is how it is used, overly abused, and scammed out by the developers. Edit*** And the false algorithm is this; The Devs chart numbers to see what works and what doesn't. What creates the false algorithm is that people will pay for this product to keep ahead or to keep a competitive build. Rather they approve of this or not is irrelevant. Numbers do not read emotions. Eventually they will burn out and either stop buying or stop playing. That is called a financial bubble. And when the bubble pops, the product, being this game and HTE, falters and crashes. *** So again I say. No Support.
That was a really good reply that actually opened my eyes a bit. Everything you said made sense. Props to you
I think people are complaining so much because of the gaps that are forming. Have you seen redstar's stats recently? They at 75 million attack lol Its just gonna get worse and worse as time goes on creating a system where you can only get beat on by someone much bigger with little to counter it or do the same to someone much smaller. I can't beat someone with 30 mill cs more than me but they can slap me about silly. What happens if the majority of low paying players stop playing out of frustration? The game dies. Simple as. Devs need a healthy player Base for game to run smoothly, without that, the big spenders will quit eventually. All facts. Like it or not. Devs need to find a balance and not let the big spenders get too far ahead.
I don't like the fact that people will be greedy because of it. Not the devs because they are just trying to make money like you said. I mean the people that lie so they can get a free hte and leave the clan. I don't like the fights that break out like hey those were my items or what not. I hate when friends that you have known for so long leave to go make sure they have better stats. I hate the fact that people who helped build the clan won't be accepted back in because they don't have a seal. It's not the eb it's the people who get to crazy over it and think It's a necessity
People who say Devs are greedy, are just basically greedy people having a hissy fit about other greedy people because they didn't get the event placement they wanted as someone wanted that the top 10 spot just a bit more than them. Hte has been a good addition in the long run, since it helps the entire clan. You won't see these people complaining when the seal is dropped in their clan.
I have 12 seals. Do you see me in a clan dropping them? And as I stated the only thing I disagree with is the difference in value players get for the same real life money issue. If the devs won't change mechs, they can at least make our money worth the same. Or what is the point in spending anymore now the gap in earnings is so wide.
Funny cause eb's weren't always out, nor were HTE until under 2 yrs. Ever hear of PVP? Hmmmm. I only EE a few times since came out. So I made a reference to HTE I do now recently. Doesn't mean I still don't PVP (no, not for event except 1st one, where items were stolen). This is a tap tap game. True. But you make assumption that my ref of hard work was just tap tapping eb's. Not true. This is for most a social game. It means you make KAW friends, network, and gain much strength from ppl in them allowing you to join their clan. And I didn't get my LL buildings cost halved, not HL either like most have. This was done to help younger players grow, just like the new devs handout to new accts. Sure there is much more to retain ppl, as well as new players. What you fail to say is that a major reason most of the players you said quit/retire was because of devs not releasing S5, instead focusing on events. This benefits newer players.
Hte is just an easy target for frustrated players. It's basically the icon of a group of devs who are taking as much as they can from the player base while doing the bare minimum and ignoring major issues with the game. I don't think it's greedy to expect more out of people we made into millionaires.
Wait a player participating lol ^this is why devs stop listening to us lol how would that work exactly?
Quite right. The devs and staff members actually need money to run this game. It probably took days of programming to create this game. People who spend get things that people who don't spend don't get. Hte is a great eb. The devs do what they think r right. If you have to complain then do it on feedback or some other place. Don't spam wc and forums with your complaints
