    While I've been saying, and still am saying that company size of 30 is too small to cater to multiple timezones another issue has been forgotten.

    Roster size :- 20-25 per war might be achievable for some clans, however the majority will struggle.

    I propose a 30 account company with a roster size of 15. Bigger warring clans/alliances will have to spread into specific season clans, but we do that anyway.

    Is this the plan the devs came up with:
    Put a dumb ass proposal for season 5 knowing too well that majority of ee vets will rage against it then throw in the curve ball and withdraw the popular form of ee
    Let's us stew for a week then roll out the original plan they were going to release but worried that we we rage against that but considering the option they hope we will embrace and to keep everyone happy they agree to concide and keep Iwar

    Who says the devs road map for war isn't working they got a new sat nav

    I propose Company of 40 n war 20-25.
    Bigger veteran clans better served.
    Newer clans can manage.

    Newer clans won't manage, we've been here before in previous seasons.Unless the the clan is established they will struggle to roster. We need as Much participation as possible if this system is to work.

    Roster sizes of 20-25 are another example of developers not listening or learning from the past. 20-25 with 2 xtals....we know why these numbers are used. While profit is essential over stretching will generate less sales.
     
  8. No support alot of ppl only can do indis because it's to hard to find a good clan

    I suppose another spell for indi and maybe an alternative s5 war event with same rewards but u have to cast a special spell to do indi side instead of normal woc
     
  9. No alternative event. S5 is supposed to be a prestigious event which we have to wait all year round for so as a result it should give everyone an equal or near equal opportunity for everyone to do well in.

    Ive been waitng for so long for s5 for this? None of this interests me. I think this is terrible. Id rather do indys than round wars.

    If I remember well every warseason was received with a lot of sceptics. It's nevertheless fun for those who love to do ee wars.

    Round is a great format until players manipulate it, we have a max cap all we need is a way to prevent lb/sh and s5 will be a success
     
  15. If clans are obligated to rotate players in the squad they will have to use different tactics. So every player that's in the company should war a minimum number of wars.

    How about using xtals as a handicap. Xtals are squad based not player based. So you start off with (2*25) 50 per squad. If you only have 21 players facing 25 they still get to use 50 each side. But each player is only allowed to use a max of 1 more than the average until they are all used up. If a squad wins a round next round they get -2 xtals for the squad. If the squad looses a match they gain 2. A squad which constantly wins (stacked) will get penalised after every win.... Only a thought

    I'd also support only 1 hr wars in the early rounds increasing to 2 hrs in the playoffs

    Still sounds like a sh roster could be an exploit. Need a basic amount per attack and steal to avoid another sh exploit

    After all the exploiters are what killed round wars in the first place. To avoid this you need all hits to be the same no matter what size the players are. Then sh can't make a ton while paying very little

    Was looking forward to s5 figured I would stay up late and get up early, do as many wars as I could, but clearly that won't work for this s5 system, and really how many phones or iPads have a battery life that will last a 2 hour war prep time, round wars only. Nice work devs no support:(
     
  20. To help with recruiting i propose that there should be an opt in to s5. Then devs create database of peeps opted in but not yet in a war company. I think this will help get a lot more inexperienced warriors a spot.
