Weekend PvP Blitz #1

Discussion in 'Past Announcements' started by [ATA]Grant, Jun 25, 2015.

  1. This weekend (June 26 @ 12PM PDT - June 28 @ 12PM PDT) we'll be hosting a PvP Blitz event that goes alongside the The Farmer's Journey, Part 2: The Book of Aradmel event.

During this Blitz event you'll collect and steal Dunesteed Bridles from players in order to earn bundles of Mayoa Fountains as a reward to help you with your progress in the main event.

    PvP Blitz Opt-In

To Opt-In to the event, players will need to cast the Besmoa Oils spell at the Alchemist. NOTE: Besmoa Oils will only be available to cast once the weekend event has started.

Warning: Opting-in lasts for the ENTIRE DURATION of that specific BLITZ EVENT and there will be no way to opt-out after doing so.

    Opted in players will:
    • Have their name colored orange to indicate their participation
    • Have a spell indicating their participation on their profile
    • Have their Battle List updated to show only players who have opted-in

    Dunesteed Bridles + Saddles

Once opted-in, players will earn Dunesteed Bridle by attacking other opted-in players. These items are both generated AND ARE STOLEN. The number generated depends on the players size. The number stolen depends on the amount of Dunesteed Bridle they currently have. The higher the number they have the more you'll steal.

Once a player collects 500 Dunesteed Bridle they'll automatically turn into a Dunesteed Saddle which cannot be stolen. These Dunesteed Saddles are what will determine your rewards from the PvP Blitz Weekend events.

    Dabroa Scimitar

When you hit another opted-in player there's a chance that the Dabroa Scimitar spell is activated. This spell lasts for 24 hours, and has the following properties:
    • Provides you with more plunder when attacking or stealing from opted-in players
    • Allows you to obtain more Dunesteed Bridle items when attacking or stealing from opted-in players
    • Provides you with a chance of creating Mithril out of thin air when attacking or stealing from opted-in players
    • Will be visible on your profile as an active spell
    • CAN BE STOLEN when you are attacked or stolen from by opted-in players. If stolen you will lose the spell, and the attacking player will receive it. Duration is not reset when stolen but continues to count down from where it was for the previous owner.

Note: You cannot steal another player's Dabroa Scimitar spell when you have an active Dabroa Scimitar spell yourself.

    Nomad Starchart

Nomad Starchart may be purchased in the Marketplace for 59 Nobility Points and casts the Shepherd Starlight spell on ALL of your current clan members. If you already have Shepherd Starlight active you will not be able to purchase it until the current spell expires.

This spell lasts for 1 hour and has the following properties:
    • Provides you with more plunder when attacking or stealing from opted-in players
(This is able to stack with the Dabroa Scimitar spell)
    • Allows you to earn more Dunesteed Bridles when attacking or stealing from opted-in players
(This is able to stack with the Dabroa Scimitar spell)
    • Prevents other players from being able to steal your Dabroa Scimitar spell while Shepherd Starlight is active
    • Will be visible on your profile as an active spell

    Rewards + Leaderboards

Please see the event page in-game to view event rewards and leaderboards.
Weekend PvP Blitz events reward players with bundles of Mayoa Fountains which count towards your totals in the main event.

Rewards will be made available for you to collect through the events page shortly after the event ends.

  2. The starchart isn't popping up as a spell for me and my clan members? I've cast two now, I hope I'm getting the benefits...

  3. Lame. Dumb. No thanks. Do something creative, stop regurgitating the same garbage.

  4. *Crickets* the enthusiasm is real....

I've seen like 4 orange names in wc. Devs might be time to take the foot off the pedal with these events, broskis.

  5. Winning alot but its not showing up???

  6. So now I'm being refunded starcharts. But they are stacking on top of each other? And they aren't seeming to even double up? I'd rather have the nobility back, KAW.

  7. The first two definitely didn't count towards the plunder. I'm making twice as much as I was earlier, but have "supposedly" had the starchart casted the whole time. I might have been refunded for one, if it refreshes the time once this last one is over, but that still leaves me with one unaccounted for. I don't mind spending the nobility for the benefits, KAW, but that's if I get what I paid for. I hope I get refunded in full. Those starcharts aren't cheap, I'm sure you know.

  8. email support, forums will help you that much. and about popularity of the event, thread has been live for 3h now? look at all the comments

  9. It's better if people don't participate, maybe then it might start to sink in.. No one wants to be sat on by a 50m Cs account...

According to support that's a non issue..

    {sarcasm}Good job devs{/sarcasm}

  10. Won't participate in these lame pvp events until the devs fix hit range. Dumb apes.

  11. 500 to make one saddle 

  12. Umm.

    This is a bit confusing.

    Does it mean:

The bigger they are the more items you get.

And the more items you have the more you lose?

    Or

The bigger they are, the more you get from troop attacks

And the more they have, the more you get from steals?

    Mind clearing that up please?

  13. I want my mithril colors to work while opted in

  14.
  15. That's your First post ever...
    Cherish it my son

  16. Noob question.. How many fountains will one saddle convert to? (Eg. Based on previous event pvp blitz )

  17. I saw it on the event page.. 500-100?!?? Wow that kinda sucks.. And it gets worst as you go up..

  18. •
