Thinking out loud to fix allie market

  1. Just trying to think through an idea to fix the allie market. What if ata reset the values of the entire market back to 10k. Refunded full value to all players. And instead of capping number of allies they put a cap on hire value. Similar to a salary cap in pro sports. Could this be a workable solution?

  2. So many of us would have 10's to hundred's of trillions out? No bfa? Redstar 2q out? Am i reading that right?

  3. I was hoping for a "Thinking Out Loud" parody

    :\

  4. This sounds impractical but could work. Maybe an optional button to opt out of pvp for a week would be good.

  5. If you refund the full amount of allies owned then capped the value of allies lower than the value of those allies (what kind of cap would it even possibly be?), then there would be a real issue of players have trillions out and no active allies to buy except for crappy inactive ones. While some are happy to buy inactive allies, most are not.

  6. This would make the bigger players even more gold from volleys. And as always the best allies will always be owned by the biggest richest people.I want to get rid of my allies but No support as this is impractical.

  7. Yes this would cause a lot of loose gold in the economy. But it would put real value into the allie market. No more indescrimently volleying a stat less player to 25b. People would have to think about the value they put on an allies. If there was a salary cap of let's say 500b. You would think much more about how you spend it. You would look more closely at each individual stat. Maximizing which stats (att, ad, spy, sd) you need to help your specific build.

  8. The real problem is the inflation is greater than the new players growing and staying and the mods not be able to be BC

  9. Then it would just be a race to who can hit the cap with active allies, then those people would get to keep them forever? What's the benefit to KAW in that? Heck, where's the benefit for the player base? You'd never be able to sell an ally once it hits the cap. That's not a good thing generally.

I agree the ally system is broken but this idea doesn't fix it in any way except to help near-LB bigs to go BC while keeping the same BFA for a lower price.

  10. If you find the right cap number lb players won't be able to hoard as many allies as they do now. Freeing up good allies for mid to near lb players. Which hopefully trickles down to smalls. Also it would give most people a pause before volleying every newbie to astronomical prices. Allowing more allies to be be available.

  11. If this was to happen, he would be stripped of all that gold faster than anyone thought possible

  12. It might help if you spelt ally correctly.

  13. Sounds it out. Al. Lie. Allie. Looks good to me.

  14. I'm thinking out louddddd
Maybeeee we found love right where we areeeee

  15. Lb switch allies from alts pretty frequently..But if you are looking for allies It is can be difficult best option tbh would be to buy mine.

  16. After thinking about it an ally cost cap wouldnt work, but resetting prices would. Players would automatically get an AntiPvp spell that lasts one week, and is disabled after attacking someone. This gives time to hire your allies

  17. One week might be a little extreme
48 hours is good if it's announced well in advance

  18. But many lb have to take a loss from drop volley this is a crucial aspect of the game... You are essentially just giving them vast amounts of gold for free if they do this idea. Plus there are many LB players that rely solely on 2 things, 1 immense Bf'a and 2 immense total strip cost. Many lb are not war ready without the Bf'a would be completely destroyed with your ata free strip.Everyone would simply be stealing from lb players as soon as it was implemented. The amount of gold lost by those unable to sp would be enormous,I would say yes just for the hilarious rages that would come but realistically although I do see the issue in Ally market I'm afraid this is not the solution..I think maybe you forget to consider also how it could be abused, with any solution it must be one that is not able to be manipulated and abused to benefit a select few.But good luck trying to find the solution..Perhaps they could have a system where each person can only own a certain ally for a set amount of time perhaps? Like a permanent timer constantly ticking the moment you buy..

  19. Aka leave redstar with 115,714,920,775,905 gold out, very smart.
