Dear NightHawk yes your name in forums appears alot. Tho being co founder of this post look at my badge 3yrs and counting. Out of all the events ive done ice moth and queztnal had the most positive feed back being primarly activity based. If a small account is extremly active to earn a high tier reward that means the amount of gold in take is huge as well. Oh whats tht mean???? They get rewarded while growing not hey here you have to bc before you can have 1 nice banner or 1 nice piece of equipment. You brought up several points kezzer did which were proven rather pointless and others clarified. Then again you are being biased to larger builds. Who wants to play a game where only the top lb and bc players earn stuff? I certainly dont. And if you look at the feed back of the past 4 events youll see 90% of kaw doesnt wanna opt into events that only bigs and lbs get. Despite tht point exactly smaller players earned top tier rewards already in the jewel promo i droped because sh was receiving more items an unload then i was at 30m.cs?? Sounds like smalls already won. This type of event makes it fair for everybody and those who play kaw most daily will earn something for it.
1. I'll admit, you did have to work to be BC 1 time much less 2 times back before hte. But HF wasn't out back then. So you only had to bc in lowlands and highlands. 2. Ok? Fod and haunt 24/7 provided enough gold for players to become bc back then. 3. Your complaining about how events are mockeries of all the old kawers hard work. 4. Times change. If this game stayed like it was 2-3 years ago, it'd be close to dead. 5. 2 weeks is a small time compared to 2 months or even 1 month. What would you prefer? 1 week or less? 6. I believe that still happens. I've been warring for 6 months since s4 happened and only have 1,130 mith. So, idk what that has to do with anything. You still have to work for Mith to buy mith equipment.
Both of u r selfish n think your doing a service to kaw. Idc about my build n what EQ i have. I know i earned it n built for war that took years to get to to do well in war n win EQ. Events r newer n I understand the boon to everyone. That said i speak for those that say this idea circumvents many reasons to play kaw. U say i speak for LB n others my size well u forget when i war its against those same ppl who can kick my butt still. As for HF not out yet when it was released HLBC had to eat discounts on HL for other non HLBC to catch up. Every discount never helped me n many others. Then spyglasses n build token again were useless but still i fid not complain. Again i can recite many evolving changes n i never complained. This however is still a poor idea.
How am i selfish? War does have several brackets. You can get up to s3 eq in.marketplace just doing indis at any size. Dont even have to work just lazy mooch off of others and hit succesfully a few times in war for mith. We are proposing a type of event to fix the pve side of events since pvp is handled well. Of course you can have pvp opt in for this template. Its a template after all were not saying make this event were just giving guidlines to merge old ways with new ways and create a new interesting spark for kaw that wont kill out the game. You said you got here when fod was the best eb? Lol i got here when haunt was the best cotd nq and fod were newer to come later in the year. Simply saying were selfish when were trying to help all of kaw not just lb and hi end bc players / sh which mostly get rewards as of now unless YOU SPEND TONS as a smaller guy to earn something nice. I believe you are the one being selfish thank you.
1. Think we are doing a service to kaw? We are simply suggesting an idea. There is a section in forums for that. 2. It still takes years to earn your build and be able to do well in war. 3. Mainly the lb would say that this idea circumvents many reasons to play kaw. With the exception of a few other non lb players. I think we all need to face the fact here. 85%-90% of kaw would like a better tier system for events rather than only the top 100 getting the good rewards. You can't get mad at everyone for trying to suggest a way to make a better tier system as we've saw in the past.
Not every discount on a tap tap game is supposed to help every player. :| and I'm not talking about you complaining about that stuff. So, I don't know why you keep bringing that up. I'm talking about your complaint on how events are mockeries of your hard work.
1.Hitting enough times to where you don't get broken sword and then letting your team do all the work while you get mith for their win. I see it all the time in indis. 2. Years of kaw mean nothing in today's kaw. Just means you've been here longer and have a badge to prove it.
I never said events r a mockery of my hard work. I see nothing wrong with this event as it stands. Your title says revamp n i disagree it needs revamping when its not even over yet. And yes i am in many threads n always want to see improvements to help newer or smaller ppl grow n enjoy kaw. I draw comparisons from the past to shed light on this idea. I believe its overboard as it currently stands is all.
In regards to hls being slashed build tokens etc yes that was to help encourage newer players to stay and enjoy the game and be able to compete yet again you are only thinking of the 10% of old players who were bc when hf came. I too was bc and support the fact devs made it easier for new guys since new guys dont have 1yrs of alrdy earning a total net of gold. You came as a early player as much as i did but im more adobting to changes that help improve the game. If devs didnt do half the stuff they already did kaw would have died in 2013. THOUGH not to mention upgrades isnt kaws major goal either or osw wouldnt exist. Many see kaw just as one giant chat room from wc to cc to pm. I cant wait to see hf slashed too when lvls 4&5 come or even just more lands so you can bring that up too when were making a event thats LESS PAY TO WIN but MORE PLAY TO EARN since it is based off of activity not any joe or bob will get rewards only those who truelly work for them along with activity comes growth
This is a thread about ideas for events. You did, in fact, say that. Not even over yet? Events will NEVER be over. So, I don't understand why some people still believe these are just something that will fade off when they won't.
I said this event is not over. Did i say they should fade off? NO U can look all through forums n will never find me complaining about any event released i simply play along.
Did I say YOU said they would fade off? No. I was just making a point about that's how some people believe. And I never said you complained about the release of events. But you did say that these ideas are mockeries. These idea are of a way to better tier events. So, in a nutshell, you said events are mockeries of your hard work.
Not yet ended? You do realize I'm not talking about the event that's ongoing right now. I'm talking about the future events.
Too early to jump the gun? This tiering system has showed itself before and got a lot more positive feedback than the events that are currently being ran. The current event responds better to those that pay to play. That's why top 100 is already at 7k skulls. They are paying for seals/xstals and sitting in hte. Simple as that.
Previous events ppl whined about 2 weeks is too long. Devs shortened the PvP aspect to give ppl a break of constant warring for 2 weeks. A far harder chore than item hunts. They implemented it into this event overall as a way to satisfy the PvP community n yet allow the eb community reasonable rewards.
So as your saying you support the idea easy look at my profile i work much harder then you do in Events. My arms even show i placed a better rancor in s2 estocs. Cool you have s4 you worked for them nice.I was inactive during this time because of work and school or id hve them too. Tho wars arnt apart of a Pve event tier thread to change it from plunder to actions / activity. Again not all will earn the best rewards since not everyone plays kaw 24/7 everyones life flucates on how busy they are. I may have to recheck but i believe i have more pvp event eq as well. Tho you could replace your pre s1 arms with s3 from the marketplace but thats all you devs put s3 in marketplace so pvp upcoming warers can have a shot at some old high end exclusive ( at the time ) war eq. Im sure at some point your hard work s4 will be in marketplace guess what YOU WORKED NOW GOT THE EQ FREE those who come later STILL HAVE TO WAR JUST TO PURCHASE THE EQ FOR MITH THEN ON TOP OF THAT ENCHANT IT your war eq is irrelevant. Since new players have to work even harder to acheive crap you already have WHILE YOUR EARNING THE BASE PIECE FREE YOUR ALSO GETTING MITH TO ENCHANT SO YOUR KILLING 2 BIRDS ONE STONE. NEW PLAYERS HAVE TO DO MORE TOTAL WARS TO GET THE SAME EQ AND MAX IT so thus in terms of war you worked less your point disproven.
Reasonable rewards? These are not reasonable. The only way to get 360 skulls a day is hte. You have to pay or be in certain clans that run hte 24/7 to get 5k skulls.
