  1. You mean the guy who might have a swearing problem?

  2. is his name Yuusei?

  3. With all the letters capitalized.

  4. I feel bad for the true Christians who have had their faith hijacked by the hate-mongerers we see representing Christianity here. When these fake Christians turn their backs on love and acceptance, and use the bible to persecute people and justify their bigotry, they appear to be the public face of Christianity, and give a bad name to all faiths, including true Christians.

What is even sadder is how little these fakes understand their place in history, and how they will be perceived in the future both by true Christians as well as by future hate-mongering fakes.

Despite the peaceful teachings of Jesus (no relation to the KaW player of the same name), hate-mongerers have used chosen verses of the bible throughout history to justify war, torture, inquisitions, genocide, persecution, racism, segregation, and violence.

What is especially striking is how each generation of hate-mongers reputes and denies the bible-based arguments the prior generation relied on. The same types of hate-mongers who once touted chosen verses of the bible to justify slavery and racism now stutter to argue how those prior verses were misunderstood or misinterpreted or from a different time, or any other reason why those disfavored hateful verses or positions are different from their current favored hateful verses and opinions.

Like those past positions, the current hatred for gay people will pass and will be denied as unchristian. But until then, the fakes and hate-mongerers will remake the same disgusting arguments that their type has made through the centuries, and true Christians will be smeared by the taint of the bigotry.

So I feel bad for true Christians who are painted with the same broad brush. But I also think they could help reclaim their religion if they stood up to the hatred and spoke out condemning the deplorable views and arguments made allegedly in the name of the bible.

  5. I know KingCalm. I hate how everyone thinks we hate everyone who doesn't agree with us because there is a small minority that does hate certain groups. I am against the Westborough Baptist Church people, but everybody always assumes that Christians are like that.

BTW, what did you mean by "here?" Here as in on this thread, or here as in your country or here as in the whole world?

  6. @KingCalm,

If you're referring to what I was talking about on interpretation, I was not "justying" the people who interpreted it wrong, I was merely explaining the fault in the religion.

I hope that clarifies it for you. (Probably won't, again.)

  7. You dont have to assume, im hella gay.

I think the westborough people are hilarious actually.

Well, I think you may have misinterpreted my view of religious people. I despise religion, I dont hate christians, I hate christianity. Now, I may not respect you because of your beliefs, that doesnt necessarily mean I dislike you as a person.

  8. It seems as if this post is kind of different than similar ones on here from five years ago which kind of shows the shifting opinion. Its kind of interesting to notice

  9. I think you have a blurred view of Christianity. We don't hate gays. A good Christian doesn't hate anybody. And we respect everyone, no matter what. And I strongly encourage you reading the New Testament. Christians view homosexuality as a sin, we also believe that every person has a soul and was made by the hands of God. And we also believe that God loves each and every living thing on this Earth, unconditionally, no matter what. And we believe in a God that loves us so much he gave us free will. And we believe that just because someone commits a sin like homosexuality (and btw, we don't think being gay is a sin, it's just homosexual actions that are sinful), doesn't mean they won't go to heaven. They still can go to heaven if they are good people who do good things. And we don't believe that just because you're a Christian doesn't mean you're better than anyone else, or that you're going to heaven no matter what. It just means you accept the teachings of Jesus. It also teaches that everyone is equal, and that everyone has a right to live, love, and to be happy.

BTW, Jesus himself said the following-
"Let he who has not sinneth cast the first stone." Which means that we shouldn't judge people unless we have never sinned ever in our entire lives. And no one has ever done that. Ever. Even Jesus sinned. When he was in the temple in Bethlehem as one story goes, he scared his parents deeply when they couldn't find him. And I'm positive that he committed sins in his life that the Bible never mentioned, because a document that old written in a time when few people could read and write could never have a complete history of anyone's life. And the Catholic Church says that the only person in history who never sinned aside from St. Mary, the mother of Christ. So don't be so quick to judge billions of people because of one common belief that you disagree with.

  10. greatkingfrank, you are just making yourself look dumb  if you truly believe what the bible says:

The Bible says, “He is the image of the invisible God. . . . For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him” (Colossians 1:15,19).

There is only one thing that God cannot do, and that is commit sin — and because Jesus was God, He could not sin. He could be tempted — but He could not sin. Even His enemies admitted they could find no fault in Him (see John 8:46).

Why are you contradicting what you believe in?

  11. couldnt care less tbh. bigots deserve to be insulted even worse.

  12. I remember a few of my teachers in Sunday school say that Jesus himself sinned. Also, sin was different then from sin today. If I stayed somewhere for three days as a child and my parents looked for 3 days to find me and I had scared them really bad, would you consider that a sin? And a temple was home to many things other than religious services in those days. It held intellectual classes, government meetings, it was where taxes were collected and where business dealings were done, so it was a very public place. So it was like me running away from home in the middle of a place where government decisions were made, classes were held, etc., it would be a sin. So by today's standards, he did commit that sin at the very least. But by the standards of those days, it wouldn't be a sin because he was in a temple as well, but the religious establishments of those days were also large community centers. So it depends on the standards you use to define sin.

  13. The bible states he did not sin, if you trust in it then you shouldnt have doubt. "True Christian"

  14. Here Yuusei, hypocrite

  15.
  16. oh sure its wrong to say that those people who discriminate others are idiots?
So if i discriminite you because you are lets say a christian you cant insult me for it because its justified my believes?

  17. it just makes you a hypocrite, why tell others not to do something if you do it right back to them?

  18. Lets just have a war, ok? Gay people against christians. Sounds like fun.
