I never saw any gay behavior when I was a kid that would "influence" me and I never chose. (who would ever chose to be gay?) I think that argument is pretty silly, and shows peoples' lack of understanding on the subject.
Being gay isn't even a choice. There has been a lot of research about this, and more and more studies show that there is such a thing as a "gay gene". I believe in this, being gay isn't a choice, you are born straight or gay.

Since, as stated before, more and more studies show it's a genetic thing, saying gays can't marry is basically the same as saying people with blue eyes can't marry or African Americans, eye and skin collour are also genetic things, the only difference is they are inheritable from the parents, while the gay-gene isn't. I think we've moved far past the point where you can get away with saying people with a certain hair, eye or skin collour can't marry because of that, so why should you ever be able to get away with saying gay people can't marry because they are gay? It's basically the same thing... :roll:
There isnt such a thing as gay gene. But there is real evidence on neurophysiological differences in the brains of homosexuals. For example brains of gay men react to AND hormones the same way heterosexual female brains would react.

Lets check the facts: Homos*xuals existence is pretty much proven. Gods existence isnt proven. Why do we condemn same gender marriage in the name of a god, which may not even exist? Oh. You're not answering how I'm ignorant. And here's the thing- I'm assuming you're gay, and I think you said you were but that may have been something else but whatever. Remember those Westborough Baptist Church members who had those signs that said Hod hates fags? How did you feel when yo gas those? Sad, offended, angry, etc., right? And BTW, those folks are a small minority of Christians. Now imagine how a Christian would feel if someone put the things you said in your first post (of course, the words might be different, but they would convey the same message). Do unto others what you want done unto yourself, right?
