Sounds fun. I do think that new features should focus on clans as those are the main reason why people keep logging into KaW. Player activity is certainly tightly related to its clan activity.
I recall double regens, now if a sidekick casted spells different from market an helped a user carry more than 6 mith. I believe it could become a worth while accessory, that could lead to more activity. Kaw_com can release the shark eb so we discover the mangled sidekick maybe a mithtil cache to store even more mith possibly an amulet of resurrection to bare the wearer the ability to bypass crystal lock. Either way we have to hunt material to fix the stupid sidekick which gives it limited capabilities upon repairing then when we 'discover skills' we Can even tie spells an or skills in to lands we all get common skills an spells but the bigger you get the uncommon spells an rare spells come into play sorry for the wall of text P.s smaller builds are immune to the effects of skills an or spells they only come into effect when hitting same size or higher twould be funny peeps cast spells then can't farm there small targets for 6-12hrs yet same small target may can farm them with there 6-12 hour spells only downside is the downtime it mirrors the up time an that's my rant
Great idea although I might have a improved idea for the side kick. Why not make something called a mount slot. A mount is basically an animal/creature that goes along with your equipment and its basically what you ride into battle with. It can work alongside equipment and to attain these mounts you need to pvp or maybe do EBs to find them. Now,, these mounts can be upgraded with gold and can give a major stats boost. The mounts are also widely available however there are rare and common ones. The mounts however can die soon or get old and depreciate in stats which means that you have to replace it.
Support, in addition why not have pledged support. So we have Allies to hire, but why cannot a kingdom pledge support to another, something the kingdom controls. So in OSW a kingdom could pledge support to a fighting clan without joining, eventually this may decide an OSW if one side really gained support. It could be applied as mouse suggested too as daily bluff of sorts. Not sure that helps growth but it is interesting all the same.
You basically stated why I left the game. It just takes too long to grow now. More will follow over time. Before people can be proud about some archievements there is already loads of more work to be done. Game sucks now tbh. Peace out. ~Lara
Just a thought to branch off of your thread moose, how about NPC allies. Now I understand the ally market is constantly inflated and lb players practically hoard the best allies. My idea is to set a system that allows you to build allies for a gold price. Say I wanted a PS ally, I could pay X ammount to establish the ally then X amount for his stats (highest being BC). Allies could not be bought off of you, allowing smaller players to continue stacking there BFA while at the same time sinking massive amounts of gold into the game. While Lb players would drop allies & purchase NPC ones still yet freeing up other allies.
This thread is great. I feel you moose. How can we see our growth? Thru LB right, but if you are like in the 50k or 100k slot? Will you still be playin a game where being at the top is an unreachable goal? To address these, devs should make new worlds or servers for the noobs, mid players and the giants of the game, the more the merrier. Big players can't enter the noobs worlds or servers. And once you are on top of the lower worlds u can now transfer or explore new worlds and face bigger enemies and epic battles. Devs should not show how many worlds are there so players will be curious how far he is from the world of the giants. Leaping in other worlds will make the players have a feeling that they achieved something. And thats a good feeling right?
I like the concept to change the game up. Keep the core but add some new ideas to add new players and reinvigorate some of the older ones. Give it a go Full support.
I support the Merc idea. Many players get frustrated with not being able to hit others that are ostensibly in their attack range. The Merc idea may bring a little blood back into the game. I do not support the Sidekick idea, because it appears to create the same problem as equipment by creating further permanent bonuses for the stronger players (ie LB choose each other as sidekicks, etc .). I like the idea of equipment destruction. However, I would propose that rather than the equipment permanently destroyed, it merely breaks, and must be "recharged" or "mended" by the mage (for aqua and inferno). Until it is mended, it has 0 stats. Perhaps when it is mended it returns to whatever enchantment level it was at, so players don't get too pissed at all their hard work in dealing with the incompetent mage. I also propose that instead of random breakage of equipment, the equipment has hit points that can be regularly depleted by incoming hits. In other words, like depleting pots, players could break the equipment by hard work, rather than by luck. Also, the equipment owner could decide which piece to use or leave on, knowing they may get attacked and temporarily lose their favorite equipment. This would also lead to new strategies in both attack and defense as players could choose when to use their equipment and when to disarm to preserve it. No more purely static, untouchable bonuses, but still offer the use of the equipment everyone has earned.
These are really good improvements, and Your idea keeps Aqua and inferno relevant for the people who have no need of it Currently
Why do you noobs always love Moose's ideas even if they're irrelevant , like this one??? Damn groupies. No support
I think Moose would be the first to admit I am no groupie. But when it comes to improvement of the game, if he (or anyone for that matter) has some good ideas, and is willing to listen to other people's ideas as well, I will support that.
Way around the problem of gap between new and old players: do what I do and realise that at 80t to bc there's no point growing so just sit and grow bfa... Oh wait I get hate cause I don't play the game the way it's meant to be played...
Hey moose I am curious as to your thoughts on my post, second on page four... Sorry if it sounds like I'm pushing one way or another, just curious
