I dont see a need to flame the op even if their idea goes against the ethos of osw. I get their point though. Maybe people would like to try a week long osw for example just to switch up from hitting ebs, but don't want something that drags on for months. What happened to all the kaw badasses moaning that no-one pvps? Anything that gets people used to warring cant be a bad thing can it? Suggest op starts another thread asking for clans to apply for an osw with some agreed parameters, rather than try and agree some rules acrosd kaw for osw.
I totally agree with OP, but I feel the cap should be lowered to 2bil for every 10mil cs the target has. Pvp has no place in this game and nobody in their right mind would want to do anything besides spend $ to hit more HTE, to grow faster, to make $ faster to do more damage and get bfa which helps them do nothing because they only hit EBs and their bfe is 500m due to these rediculous events. /thread
I see what the OP is trying to do, he's trying to apply the Geneva Convention to KaW. Funny thing is, this is a 9 plus tap tap game. I don't think the Geneva Convention can be applied to a FREE mobile game.
the example on this thread is just that an example it can be anything the clans want even being an all out strip war. as for the agreement it doesn't have to be of friendship it can be a mutual agreement between clans that the loser must disband the clan and do there achievements all over again. what you say is on the point that I'm getting at though and I'm not going to claim I was around in 2009 but looking at the imagination they had working with their team to one up the other and being so invigorated by it all, I had that feeling to at one point whether I was in osw or mercing ebs it really got me into the game that I was doing something and that's not there anymore. It's all going through the motion now.
the Geneva convention has nothing to do with this thread, it's about finding an approach to war which makes it accessible to all rather than a select few with superiority complex. that's my question to the people who really aren't contributing to this thread rather just flaming it. do you play this game to sit on a perch and hold it as a trophy or do you play this game to war? osw has no rules yet you would be stupid to think that politics plays no part in osws unlike the rules I am proposing they hold osw back and they only cater to a few. there is no challenge if it is too weak or too strong there is no enjoyment in that other than beating the chest in defiance or victory which even then is selective taste. it's ironic you speak of it being a 9+ game yet it grows further and further from that everyday.
This isn't gonna work. If you're going to strip someone there's just no satisfaction when there a cap on what you can do to them. As you can see even the suggestion of adding rules to off system war can rile people up. You're better off trying to get people to support the idea of stripping in EE wars.
