This has been a gripe of mine & others for some time now. I would love to know why, for instance that players in the UK pay more for crystals & nobility that the US or Canadian players? $1 is equal to £0.65 & it has been roughly that exchange rate for years. So why do ATA think its right to charge £14.99 for 32 xstals or 200 nobility points when the common exchange rates say $19.99 is only £12.99. That's £2 on each purchase ATA are making for free! Feel free to post your opinions on this & let's get those prices adjusted for the fairness to all KaWers that pay to play
There is a difference between market exchange rates and retail rates. Visit America and demand to get the exchange rate for Pounds that you see online. There is a middle man in everything
There was a thread released some months ago that said this. Because of Google and/or apples foreign blah blah blah, prices have been adjusted.
Easy solution: pay via pc and not via google or apple. As far it not being there in other apps, i can imagine that they just dont show this difference and adjusted it on forehand. If you get what i mean
The current kaw rates were from when it was like €1 = $1,20. But funny how kaw actually gets closer to the actual rate
It costs money to exchange it Ata is based in Canada and my friend from there said it costs more just because ata uses American
Thanks for all the comments guys. I get that it costs money to convert into another currency but other games manage it through google play, dragon lords for one. Theyre $4.99 pack converts into £3.23 through google play, which thru my experience is much closer to the norm & is infact a lil under it…kaw on the other hand charges £3.99 for their $4.99 pack…scale that up & it soon makes a big difference…im not convinced nothing can be done about this, as kaw is the only game ive ever seen charge more than everybody else
HELLO. Castiel answered OP correctly and you ignore. This is 100% the correct answer. APPLE set the prices and ATA has NO control over this price set. You do know that all updates have to have Apple approval before release? Apple controls everything, not ATA, even though ATA owns the game.
I'm not ignoring what castiel wrote if you actually read my comments! As I previously said, if that's the case, why do the convertions differ from game to game & not a set amount across the board if they're all set by the same governing body?
