People have been complaining about the decline of forums for years. It's always been troll infested. Wether you guys like it our not this is a pvp and banter is a part of it. I remember when A few years ago this forum was infested with spammer clowns like Narwal and wingless pizza guy that had high post counts but never played kaw. Those guys got crowned until they left... It was an improvement in my book
I think your confused by what my thread and many others are. Your idea of "toxic" is apparently for anyone to cause "chaos" or cause war in this war game. Not 100% sure why you think anyone that plays the game how it's supposed to be played as toxic. Do your part, you can't change people.
PHIL, You're part of the decline in forums. Please, just don't voice opinions on something you have helped caused. I'm not saying I've posted 100% perfectly over my time here and I, too, have contributed to part of the decline, but you have done much worse for the community.
Thread isn't what has happened in the past, it's about how we will move forward. We have to do this every few years or so. Let's do it better than the last.
Okay, that's cool Phil. Please leave if you're not going to contribute more than that. @AJ, sounds good. @Seth, I agree, we need a movement. We need something to show we care about moving forward. But, try and realize the difference between promoting toxicity and promoting war.
I never said showing up in someone's newsfeed was toxic. Characters like you, prancing around forums, doing nothing but posting nonsensical and unnecessary comments are toxic. People who ruin the experience of the game (in this case, forums) are "toxic" Don't get mad because I disagree.
I never got mad because you disagree nor do I post senseless comments on forums? At least not recently. Please, show me a screenshot of my posting something "senseless" in the past couple of months. Not sure why you feel like you can insult me and then expect me to not get rude back.
Totally support seths idea, but kaw is in a slump at the moment. No active season for ee. With the team wars gone and indy wars being the way they are with cheaters and spies....well I just don't see what there is to talk about. Kaw has been Luke warm and repetitive for almost 1.5 years......what's new? The same promos? The war schedule? How about the equip? It's almost exactly the same. I have been here a while and truthfully holding my same 36 xstals for way longer than I should because I can't commit to something that is going no where......and this is coming from a guy who Warred 3-4 wars per day preseason ee wars and through season 3....4 and 5 have just left me sad

"It" hasnt gone anywhere. :roll: If you were really here, you'd know that KaW hasnt changed at its core. Its the same ****, different day. The forums were a **** hole and true vets know it. Now forums has taken the place of walls/pm because everyone wants their crap public. However yes, the game has evolved but you can only make so many guides (even a guide on guides) before theyre crap or just newer editions. You can only make so many discussion threads without asking the same questions. Only so many game threads possible on a text based game. We'll run out of "up to par threads" Its inevitable and another crap thread ABOUT crap threads wont fix it.
I honestly don't think we should look at the focus of the decline of forums. Phil is right that people been saying he decline of forums for years but there is a bigger picture. As I look into the App Store (don't have any android stuff because I haven't been converted yet) I check how Kaw is compared to other games on the market. Usually event/promo brings the game pretty high but recently I have not seen Kaw on the top 150 grossing apps for the first time. Obviously this is a big deal. Not all games last unless you are like one of the big games titles people get board! It's a human thing we are meant for change and change has to happen even if we like the "old times" better or not. Pre Pwars of Kaw would never last as long if they didn't incorporate the stuff they did. ATA I don't know what there plans are but they sure not advertising this on any #1 games (like they did with smash imam other game recently). So should we spend more attention on forums and hopefully that will help Kaw out? I don't know but change needs to happen or we all need to find another game and for a week I haven't found another game to help my kawccain needs.
Sadly, I never disrespected Seth on this thread and tried doing it what he stated in the OP about debating with wit and intellect. When confronted and when I stated my opinion on the thread he started doing just the opposite on this very thread and then he broke out into this in PM, very clearly not willing to see any other "argument" besides his own.
