Lately there has been a large amount of discussion over the inclusion of round wars in the rotation on our war schedule as well as their relevance in KaW right now. This thread will discuss both sides of the argument around wars as well as tally votes for their fate. Once a sufficient amount of opinions have been gathered, I will submit this thread to the developers to review. To start this thread off, here are some general facts: - Individual wars in the war 3 timeslot often see up to 11 matches (330 people) - Primal wars in the war 3 timeslot often see up to 7 matches (210 people) - Round Wars in the war 3 timeslot will see up to 2 matches (60 people). However, often times round wars will not have any matches The Case for Round Wars - Round Wars are the most historic war. They've been around since the start of EE and deserve credit for that. - Round Wars cater towards people who took time to build their bfa/bfe to a point where it has a large impact on their warring ability - There are builds specifically made for Round War participation and it is not fair to these people to remove these wars The Case Against Round Wars - Participation in Round Wars is extremely know when compared to other wars - Round Wars cater to LB players and clans who are good enough to get said LB players, which makes them unfriendly to new warring clans - Removing round wars would allow more individual/primal wars to take place I have tried to make this thread as unbiased as possible. Feel free to converse below and cast your votes. If you can provide a condensed version of an argument which I have not provided above, please post it and I can edit it into the original post.
I believe that they should stay until, of course, there is such a minority (one match up or no one at all) that wants to do them. But, I also don't think they should be replaced by more of the current wars.. Those can be boring and repetitive. Having a 3rd kind is a nice addition and should stay, although it may eventually not be round wars that occupies that spot. Basically, I have a mixed opinion on round wars and this post did not put me on one side or the other.
Round wars are best only if people are willing to sign up for them.... The game is very ps or "ps1" heavy currently. There is no base for family warring like we used to...
Remove them they are a waist of time. Primals are becoming the same thing, stacking rosters with ridiculous rosters. What we need is indi + Primals = prindi. Would be the best wars ever.
Round participation has always been fairly low in the off season, many building bfa and warring only to refresh edge One point you made for round wars just bothers me. If a person's bfa/bfe is the reason they do well, they should probably practice quite a bit more in iwars.. The true test for many sh, was primal wars. Who could grow and war well without relying on bfe/bfa Im not a fan of the primal concept, but i feel round wars have died out and should be buried as pwars were (not the same situation, i know). Iwars may be a coin flip but its another show of skill, who will adapt and continue to succeed
Round Wars r dead so bury them outta respect. Btw where r lobbyists who wanted them? Speak up Harb n be accountable.
I think they can stay. I never do them, but meh. But not in the current format. I believe this would help: Have a round war slot, at the same time of an indi war. That way people don't need to miss out on that slot, and those that wanna do round can
