Everyone has chimed in on this event, whether you're paying ie HTE, Seals, Xtals & Nobs OR enjoying the game which is free. After BURNING TOO many brain cells. For the record I generally run HTE and Xtals and...I realized this event is foolish. BUT this is what I came up with: Events by definition should give everyone a chance to compete. That said many bonus/freebies are given us the players by KAW/ThinkingApe via HTE. So HTE despite the debate regarding HTE, it's special in addition to the 3x more of everything. That said events and rewards should be based on "reasonable play." Winning tiers should be created off that same reasonable play without Xtals, items bonus & crux chest. The benchmark for this reasonable play should be HTE. Quickly a few reasons: it's special in general, it only costs $6 for 100ppl, it's quick and drops all items regardless of event type. With variables on drops and caches, any two playing the same amount will not have the exact same number. The Top tier should be calculated by taking KAW's average completion time on HTE dividing by time to complete event. Example 14days = 336hr = 20,160min say the average HTE time is 45mins (no Xtals) so jewel range is 2240-4480!! That's if you hit EVERY EB, NOT factoring regen, delayed starts and assuming every HTE is FFA/quick items. Which would be difficult but....possible if you wanted to stop everything in life...like sleep to play. Currently the revised tiers are higher??? We can argue about the 2000 versus 5000 but you get the idea. I said HTE is benchmark for tiers. In my opinion Hunt events are a pain in the butt, admitting I'm lazy and stay in clans for awhile. That said you could randomly assign better drops to all other non-HTE EB's where the motivated free player willing to visit several clans in a day aka "hunting drop" has a chance to compete as well. That would be two fold: luck that the random EB aren't SS or TSG and openly posting that using Xtals on these randomly selected EB's will help drop rate. Maybe consider making or posting: Max Xtaling doesn't guarantee highest drops but finding a sweet spot for each will(or something similar). WE GOT SOMETHING COOKING, Now we have and event/competition where being a DIEHARD either big spender or free player have best possible odds to make the leader board, yet variable drops & caches makes it more interesting and harder to predict. Remember my range 2240-4480 was if you hit EVERY EB!! Which is very difficult, if not impossible. KAW you said tier are set up to be hard, currently they're expensive...not hard, big difference. Also TOP clans certainly will complete HTE's faster, smaller clans then would have to use Xtals or recruit "Hitters" to stay on pace to compete. So there is a clan aspect which helps the individual diehard player. In addition players on leader board, large CS, played longer, do get a little advantage, as they should, yet small accounts can compete by paying Xtal'ing or free by recruiting. WIN WIN....NO?? This should help these type of events, love to help with PVP too.

i agree with you....the best event to compete all players was feathers promo...for free and hte....this event with drops in different ebs doesnt solve the problem...competition is clear only for the hte clans to get the bigger rewards...for pvp happens same,the more xtals the bigger rewards
i do b2b warbeast and got 21 drop of horn/2 seal.now my item almost nearly 500 and without xtaling.no need spend on horn if u have patient hitting warbeast all day.
