So, this will be my 3,000th post. And for this stupid little "milestone", I have decided to make a thread. Reasons Why This Game is Dying Not what you expected, aye? no no.. I'm not going to be thanking all of my friends that have quit over these 4 years, or discussing all the clans that I've experienced. No. I will be listing my reasons as to why this game is dying. Man.. I don't even know why I'm still here. 1. The devs don't listen to us. They don't listen to our ideas, our criticisms, or our responses. I'll be shocked if they even read this. 2. No new players are coming into the game. And staying. They find it too complex because nobody is there to teach them. 3. We aren't a good, unified community. No, all we do is hurt each other instead of trying to fix issues. 4. Some people take the game too seriously, and aren't welcoming to others. 5. Nobody is there to mentor the noobies. 6. The game itself is bland. Nothing new and not-broken has been implemented since... Well since EE wars were introduced. 7. The hunts are hated by most, but the devs don't fix it. Every hunt is the same, just with different words and names. 8. THE NEW LANDS ARE TOO EXPENSIVE. 9. THE NEW BUILDINGS ARE TOO EXPENSIVE. 10. Nothing will keep a player up to pace with others except HTE. 11. HTE has torn this game apart. 12. Forums are bland and filled with unhelpful trolls. They don't even try anymore. Props to the few that do try. 13. EE wars are boring and repetitive after a while because it just seems like the same old same old. 14. Players aren't rewarded at all for their loyalty to the game. 15. The gap between new players and LB players is like an Abyss at this point. And it's only getting bigger. 16. These new levels for the buildings were released WAY too early. Nobody was ready, except for of course the leaderboard. 17. High up LBers are basically invincible now. 18. EBs are boring, repetitive, bland, and lacking. Something new has to be made to make them more interesting once again. 19. There is no 'Buy X' option in the Marketplace. 20. Seals are way too expensive. I mean $6.00 for one EB? That's ridiculous!! 21. Trolls. 22. I honestly believe that the devs do not care about the average player anymore. 23. Regular non HTE EBs have not had their payment output increased, while everything else has gotten more expensive. Thus, showing the game is solely revolved around HTE 24. Speaking of which.. The game is solely revolved around HTE for money. And finally, 25. Probably the most controversial one that will get this thread locked but.. #noregrets #devsneedtohearthetruth 25. The devs don't enforce their own ToU when it comes to the 'big-spenders'. So yeah, congratulations to me on reaching 3k posts. Hope this was at least a fun read Cause it was really easy to make.
I've shared my share of ideas.. And so have tons of other people. And of course, nothing got listened to Sure this is just a rant, and I don't really care
I apologize, then. I didn't know. And I know others have thought up good ways to make KaW better. But the devs won't listen. But I think I have a solution. Stop paying for the game. Don't buy the stuff, don't drop seals, until the devs meet our demands. It seems like it might be worth it. Just a thought.
Oh no, another topic full of tears. Maybe if you spend more time in game and less time chasing post count on the forums, maybe you would be closer to build complete.
Dilly's question thread has over 3,000 'pages'. And that isn't the point of this thread. Unless y'all didn't read past the thread title... On topic: Maybe there's hope in that some of these issues are being addressed in these beta tests that are planned in the near future.
