A better PVP experience

  1. V.I.P Membership

So I've been seeing alot of ideas floating around for improving PVP...which is awesome. My problem with this is most involve purchasing a spell that would cost the same as an HTE seal.

Personally I think ATA is making enough profits as it is, and don't think we should have to spend much if anything out of pocket for an improved PVP experience. PVP is what kaw was always intended to be about...so why should we have to pay for a better experience?

Here's my compromise to the fundamental "Pay to play" pvp concepts. For a meager few dollars a month(2 or 3), a player could gain V.I.P status. This status could give various benefits such as a decent % boost in pvp plunder, and a small boost in eb plunder. Subscribers could also get an achievement and a nifty colored name to make em feel "special".

Subscribed pvp players could also have the option to cast a pvp spell like the one in the last pvp event. And like the event participants could collect an item from pvp actions while hitting other participating players. For example let's say the spell lasted for 1 week, at the end of the week, depending on the number of items you collected you would receive a gold bonus "much like an eb", a good chance of scoring some free pots, a low chance of some aqua & inferno, and rare chances at a horn or seal dropping. No big fancy rewards, just normal stuff eb players get. All subscribers could try their hand at this, but it would be particularly useful for osw's.

Maybe even throw in a couple more propacks for subribers, one of which could contain a special banner of sorts...make us average players feel special. Give subscribers 1 or 2 free crystals a month. This is no way should cut back on xtal sells...spenders on xtals need more than 2 a month. All this would likely do is let more people do ee wars, at least 2 a month, or would be used in osw or even just on ebs.

Is this fair to all players??? No it is not. A good portion of kaw players are minors with no income, so unless their parents were willing to subscribe them, they would be left out. That being said, we "the adult" players are your biggest source of income, likely the most devoted players, and likely the ones who care most about the future of kaw. We can't say what we want without censorship, we have to chat pg rated in wc, and we have to put up with annoying children at times. So cater to us just a little, give us something cheap and interesting, reinvigorate our enjoyment of this game.

Downsides to this idea: some people will be left out, although the benefits are slight. People could horde free xtals...although it would take 5 months to get 10 xtals. Potential for more farming and angry noobs.

Upsides: Happier adult kaw players. Even people who do not spend money on kaw may find themselves willing to put out a few bucks a month on V.I.P benefits. Devs gain extra income on something they have never previously gained it from "simple pvp". Possible increased xtal sales from osws "considering the pvp spell and bonus idea". And did I mention Happier Players? ??? Yes I did...and that's a good enough reason in and of itself.

  2. Suppprt. Well thought out and relatively interesting to read. Hopefully they implement something like this

  3. subscriber idea is cool i would pay

  4. This sounds really cool, I'd definitely subscribe to this. BenefIts may be small but benefits are benefits. It'd be neat if there was subscriber equipment, and every week if you attacked a diverse amount of players (not just farm an osf Or steal Some one who is open) you had a chance of an equip drop.

  5. Don't want to get to carried away with free stuff...just wanted this to be a cheap alternative to other ideas people are putting out. Maybe some other neat little features could be added...but I think gear is best left to ebs, ee, and promos. To keep it all pretty fair and such. Though the couple free xtals if used to ee could lead to nice war gear :)

  6. Good read trip! Definitely support.

  7. that is a really cool idea! support

  8. Support

I can't believe no one has made a thread about this yet.. Seriously, this is a great idea️

  9. That would be great, but it seems they are even excluding PvP from events again now....

  10. This idea makes sense, I have seen countless games have this kind of function. It would even make me a cheap person like myself to spend more money in KaW. ;)

  11. Support, great idea. 

  12. Appreciate the kind comments and support...it really is a simple idea..I'm surprised I haven't seen a thread on it either. Feel free to add your own concepts into the idea, afterall ideas like this are for the enjoyment of everyone. Just don't get too carried away...we want it cheap :p.

  13. Support, but maybe make it so you can pay per month rather than a subscribal that automatically removes money till u cancel it

  14. Or the option to do either or, repurchase at your end date or have an automatic withdrawal. Good Thinking...would add to the flexibility of it...no commitments, just increased fun.

  15. Hoping for some more thoughts on this.

  16. Sounds like a plan to me.

I don't see any real flaws with this system. A few games I play offer a similar system and is usually a better deal than buying whatever currency they use.

    Support brother.

  17. We put and interesting support

  18. I support this idea. I would subscribe for a few dollars. Seems like an easy alternative to waiting for pvp events.

  19. Despite the seizure I just had because of that flashing coloured cat, I still support the OP. I would subscribe, and I think it would definitely give a fun spark to the game, in addition to a steadier more reliable income for the devs so they can stop releasing crappy promo after promo just to boost sales and can focus their attention + time + funds on improving other aspects of the game to ensure this game has a future.
