  1. So nothing about KaW just need some real life advice... Not posting with a main because im not looking for sympathy or anything, just advice.

Anyways, I'm a 15 year old kid who has a few ideas for s future but not sure. Mom's a lets call it an "Escort" and my grandma lets us live at her house and grandma mostly has made sure ive made it so far and staying out of trouble. Im an athlete i play american football. I take two math classes and will be taking AP classes for math and physics next year and honors ELA. I amazing with computers also but not sure what i should do in the future with my future... I kind of want to do be a civil engineer or a software engineer... Not sure if either pays better, or if anyone knows any jobs that i could reach in time.

I do work hard and want to make it out of where i am. If you have any advice on colleges, jobs, etc it would be greatly appreciated.

I see you trolls already
    Thanks in advanced!

  2. Am I right in assuming you are from America? I'm getting that from the fact that you play American football. I need to know because I only know about schools here in the US.

  3. Yes l live in the US! Just said american football so not to confuse with the soccer.

  4. I knew it. What part of the US?

  5. In my opinion, your likely to be more comitted to a job you like (promotion is easier with comitted work.) Just choose a job that you like doing and is worth all the work you put into school.

  6. Turning 16 this year? So u assume you might be a sophomore right now. The best thing to do is go to College Board and create an account, register for an SAT/ACT and then look for colleges that suit to your liking via the website. My advice is to not take an AP class just for the credits, but take it to actually be familiar with courses in a 4 year university.

This is where the general search is, where they filter suggestions based on statistical data, rather than what the universities specialize in (regarding majors and courses for undergraduate students)
Besides that, good luck with the AP exams for your future classes as well as the SAT/ACT. One thing to note as well is to not pursue a career based on hobby, rather than demand. I've had many friends that went by passion when we were taking our courses and later on they had difficulty finding a job; being a software/civil engineer is a good pick.

  7. Massachusetts, but willing to anywhere!

and Plane, i know about the good colleges like harvard, mass amherest etc but do you know any schools that specify in software engineering/tech stuff, or to be a civil engineer?

  8. No still a freshman! our cut off date is weird, i was born 12 days after the cut off so im one of the oldest in my grade! And alright thank you!!!!

  9. Well, what do you want to do? The guy above me is right, take the ACT. If you get a good score, you might get some scholarships.

  10. Kansas State in Manhatten is a good engineering school. Good Luck with your future, keep working hard and never give up

  11. Why did we need to know what your mom is lol

  12. He could be trying to sell some books or videos. Worked for KimK

  13. Civil engineering is a more promising job with a bit better pay than software engineering.

  14. ...how much does your mom charge and could you post some pics of her please? Thank you

  15. Be an escort

  17. Become an escorts. Act like you momma

  18. Caltech and MIT are two of the stronger engineering schools.
Check out MITs open courseware website, they have free class material, lectures, excersize available for download.
