This is just confirming that devs knew what the hte was doing to the game and just wanted to see how far it'll go Jk Will post a more serious post later can't figure how to put what I'm thinking on paper just yet
HTE should go back to be a promo once or twice a month, that way the devs can still get there $'s from those who xtal To give this eb priority in drops for events is just pure greed on the part of the devs, which results in a imbalanced playing field.Removing HTE as a regular eb will lead to much needed equip eb's for the newer accounts.
I find it puzzling that the rewards(for the most part) are equipment and banners. But the majority of players that have the means of earning them are not interested in pvp. And we all know that at the conclusion of this event there will be a 2x, 3x, or 50% hte promo. And those that ran hte will also be stacking 100-200% bonuses and god knows what else with them. It's not just an advantage when the earning potentials reach those levels. It's a clear statement that moderate to non spenders have no place left in kaw. Imo, of course.
In addition, was it the psion one where different eb's started off good then hte took over? I remember beers and kebabs was running fast psion for everyone. That was a good event
Hte should be a promo and crux should replace them. That way hte is special, the only way to get them is from dropped ebs and devs make money off ppl buying crux
The only people who whine about hte are those to cheap to pay for it if I choose to pay to keep this game economical I should get some reward. The devs cannot remove it, imagine the uproar. Furthermore if you think this will slow the lb down like red and cella think again. They prob have a huge store of seals. They will also nob and max xtal anyways. You can make decent gold without hte, try doing ss, TS, etc with a few ee levels. It's really not hard....
That's right. In AFF with a decent amount of items spammed on item stage I make 8bil/h. In HTE i make 7.3bil/h
A loyalty bonus ie: perm clan bonus could work,if u stay in your clan for a great length of time your bonus goes up. Hell a loyalty achievement or clan building achievement would be nice. Good thread working together brainstorming to solve this problem is a great idea although I must admit even I have used hte clans.
I don't have trouble finding HTE lol. That's why my accs are pretty big while constantly in OSW. But it breaks the game.
Make another promo eb thats x5 that actually is limited time and is randomly shown in a clans epic battle list. They must have a certain amount of players in their clan to start the eb. Each clan gets four random chances a day to catch the eb in their epic battle list. It then costs 0$, but drops one seal per day and can only be used in the clan it was received. This clan becomes the owners seal, it must be used in a 24hr time period. If the owner leaves the clan the seal is thus taken away. Each player may only hit the items a certain amount of times based off players in the clan. That math is not up to me to do^ lol Anyhow just a suggestion. HTE clans will still keep going, and other clans will be able to get seals ans bonuses as well. Maybe they have to run a non hte eb to get their x5 ebs for the day.
Could just you know... Increase payouts of all other ebs so they are only slightly below hte (without items) Example... I hit ts for 86m I hit hte for 134m Somewhere In the middle would be like 110, it's like a 20% increase I think would be fair
The problem is, that devs need a good source of income to make a profit, pay their staff, maintain their building, fund game updates etc. HTE is a good way of doing that, so if it were to be taken out of the game there needs to be another source of income to replace it. Now I agree that it's ruining clan loyalty and isn't fair on the players who don't pay to win, but with the prices of buildings and lands, HTE is needed to grow quickly. So if it is taken out it would be a good idea to reduce their price to something affordable or bring in a new eb that pays well. What's also bothering me is the price for PvP, it costs a lot of gold to get a decent amount of pots but the payout when hitting/stealing someone puts many players off, as it costs more to attack someone than you get back.
HTE will never go away. There will always be a stockpile in inventories and then more dropped by EBs. But i do think they should get rid of seals for nob on the marketplace. It has really inflated the economy with the constant influx of gold. Devs would never imagine of getting rid of their cash cow unless they had something else to replace it that would make them even more money. Id much rather see crux chests with longer durations than seals for sale. Maybe a 6h duration? Or 4x Ambush. This is the best eb for all builds. This means 100% of the players could hit this eb and be potential buyers of a "seal" to open this eb. Or x2 TSG. This would be a good eb that would pay alot but not too much. Also has an item phase for "sealers" But again these ideas wont help the economy, but nothing i can think of would help, and make the devs money if they were to remove the sale of seals for nob.
This, devs want to fix a issue with hte clans and hoarding all the seals and having no loyalty to any clan what so ever, then make non paying ebs drop event rewards, hte should only be a high paying eb. Anything past the ghost ebs should pay more than them instead of paying the same amount, because after all they can go up to and more than 3x harder and longer than a typical hte.
Hte has caused many issues in the game. And destroyed many good clans. But it's not the sole cause of all issues. The way it rewards in events is the biggest issue. The game has a lost a balance. It once had. Are equipments special. They never used to be. They were there for all to obtain you just had to grow and work your butt off to get them. Or fluke it. The separation in game is many players object to free players. Go get a job, moochers freeloaders whatever. I have never denied that kaw needs an income. And I have at times contributed to that income. But what many fail to understand is that we need a community. A diverse and inclusive one. Not the elitist exclusive one that is building up in kaw these days. There is a very antisocial feel to the game now and that needs to be addressed. Stopping the exclusivity of events that favour lb or big spending is essential. With great activity everyone should be able to reach the top levels. Those who choose to pay can actually do so and sleep as well. I despise the current advert on the App Store. It's aimed clearly at children. And yet everyone with a job is saying "get lost we don't want you here you freeloading garbage" Yep can see why people stay. This is a community game. And it totally excludes many players. Devs introduced many aspects that are not great. But a lot if players need to accept responsibility for their role in how these changes have been used to negatively affect kaw as a whole. We need features we pay for to keep the game here and worth the devs running. That should be limited to boosting gold though. Not event rewards. As stated for well however many times it is. Make events inclusive, make it one action other than pvp scouts amd items bars earn a token for whatever event. Eb or pvp every action counts ( except pvp scouts and item bars) Make the actions based on reaching tiers of using both bars from full starting at 8-10 offloads a day ranging to 20 offloads a day. Technically everyone could achieve the rewards on actions. Spenders in hte will obviously gain their rewards earlier if they are xtalling. As would everyone else xtalling But if you don't xtal then you have to work your butt off to get it. Why should big spenders get more than others who worked harder to attain it. Couple of days xtalling vs 20 hours a day? Give them the same equipment. The spenders made their bonus getting massively more gold than anyone else. They don't need exclusive equipment making them untouchable when they already pay to grow and hire the best allies. We need balance, not more exclusive features that will drive the players away that the game advertises specifically towards.
