why we need NEW lands now.

  1. Why now is the right time for new lowlands.
    I have said previously that new lowlands are essential for the stability of kaw.
    The recent upgrades have just proven this point.

    The reason is two fold.
    One, for the ease of new players to get a decent amount of revenue from the game and actually stand a chance at becoming build complete within a sensible timeframe. 1-2 years not more ( based on free play not pay to play )

    Two, to boost the earnings of the existing midfield and newly made smalls who without a boost will be left so far behind the lb there is no point playing.

    How this would work

    New low lands would be restricted to builds of a value of 150 bill final level
    The builds would be restricted to attack or spy builds no towers.

    This will open up ee wars slightly more with restrictions placed on towers putting emphasis on fighting not absorbing hits.

    The plunder increase will of course help the build complete. But by enabling the rest of the community to gain in stats and have a chance to earn enough gold to fight over active allies within a more reasonable time frame would massively encourage mids and new players alike.

    To those who say just pay to play, not all can do that. And yes the game is here because of those who pay. However we need a diverse active growing community. Both in terms of player input and as a purely in game asset, active allies.

    To those who say we did not have that benefit. Everyone can take full advantage of this feature within a sensible time frame. This should ensure encouragement for new players and small to mids.

    To the devs. The more players satisfied with the game the more micro transactions and the more diverse the game becomes.
    Please change the advert as it currently makes the game look like a schoolyard mines bigger than yours game.

    I would advertise the fact that this is a hugely diverse chat app with the feature of being an active war and building strategy game that united people from all walks of life.

    As it was set out. A social experiment that worked.
    Reintroducing the ease at the basic levels for growth brings back the buzz of growing.

    I remember the buzz of 7 plus upgrades a day then running straight into a pvp skirmish. Farming wc or forums and meeting new people with no fear of having to spend years or mortgage payments to grow.

    The spending came from I enjoy being here and want to help my clanmates.

    I enjoyed helping new players grow, it was rewarding and fun. It was great teaching players to war and have fun hitting. Now everyone just wants to build non stop and that kills the biggest feature of the game.

    The most social aspect. It's a war game. Pick a fight enjoy it. And make a new friend or enemy whilst playing a game that can be picked up and put down at leisure. Where you didn't have to be glued to the screen trying to grow. But could choose to be for the laughs in cc and to pin that player you are at war with.

    New lowlands would offer a huge advantage back to the community. It would produce more gold, yes. But evenly across all players and make saving for upgrades and allies easier. Pots too.

    And the builds would grow fast enough to be worth warring with after 1-2 years based on free play.

    Much faster with more spending. And with greater earning potential I bet more would be willing to spend earlier to get where they want to be. Then if like me they enjoy pvp. They would spend that spare beer money on nobs or xtals to go to war with.

    To all, please consider the help this could offer. The balance it could bring to growth achievements in a reasonable time frame.

  7. Not a bad idea. Will increase plunder for everyone while not being overpowered and overpriced. Also we need highlands tier 4 prices halved so smaller players can gain more stats for cheaper.

    Omar. I imagine it would be hard to remove existing towers from lowlands plus new players inclined to osw would need some static defence.
    As such I would suggest that the restriction for towers would only apply to the new lowland set.
    I see the need for towers and fully understand why they are in the game. I personally dislike them as turtle builds detract from an attacking gameplay style which is where I see most of the fun.
    I know many prefer ebs and this would not affect anyone's style of gameplay. Just purely the ability to grow at a reasonable pace.
     
  9. Why not? I'm all for more, for all. Currently abyss caters to the large, like myself, and not to the smalls. The large are here until we get bored... Without more people joining.... This game will continue to not be a growing community.
