I think pretty much everyone will agree that WC "join us for e.b." adverts get old quick. Here is an idea I want to toss out for discussion. On the clan profile page, add a button for sending ads to WC. The ad would be created in a dialog box on the clan profile page by a clan owner or admin. The "Send WC ad" button would have a timer, say 30 minutes before it could be tapped again. The ad would appear in WC with the prefix "Clan Ad" in front of the ad. Anyone manually posting WC ads without pressing the button would be considered spamming. Just an idea. What do you think?
This would not work at all. Although it is nice to see some New Ideas coming about. There are players whom are looking for an specific Epic Battle and then they notice an ad in WC and join the clan, to do a certain Epic Battle. As for now a Clan can only send a Maximum of 3 Ads in 5 minutes. If a clan were to not respect such rules, there would be silences coming to those whom did not respect WC rules. Spamming is sending the same message over and over again. (When sending an ad be sure to clear it with your clan since it could result in a Silence. It falls under Clan Ad Spam.)
Maybe a seperate chat for clan ads? Would be a great place for people to find the eb they want (Yes statless alt im too lazy to log on with main)
I dont know why someone has not simply created a fourth tab. World chat, Ad chat, Clan chat, Ally chat. Problem solved, thank you. Do I get a cookie now?
Honestly since the rules have been updated, (No more than 3 similar posts from the same person in 5mins and no more than 4 Clan ads in 5 minutes) there has not been much spam of world chat. Yes it's fast because of how many clans there are on KaW since the Clan System release… heck since just last year; however, many clan owners/clan mates do a great job at making sure it does not go over 4 ads in 5 minutes. Whats more difficult is a person spamming by his or herself. Mods are usually swift to silence. I don't see this as an issue anymore. Especially since there has been more conversating in world chat compared to the usual.
This system could be abused. Multiple people could send ads at one time. You need an ability to turn these ads off then via your settings.
Support for a separate clan ads tab. Its a simpler solution to separate out the crap that goes into wc. I hate it when chat gets in the way of my ads lol
