If you're reading this thread, I ask that you go look at the guide section of forums before reading on (if you haven't already). You see how the only sticky'd thread is my picture posting guide? Yeah, I don't like that. There's plenty of guides there that are more beneficial to KaW than my stupid, cucumber eating picture guide. Look at Wulf's awesome EB guide! That thing must have taken days to make! Where's the sticky on that? My suggestion is opening up Guide to public posting, but awesome guides like Wulf's get sticky'd. Either that or remove the sticky on my guide. So please "KaW devs that read this thread" (I really don't think any dev will even look at this twice), fix this issue!
The guide section of the forums cannot be posted in - only moved into by those with powers above so pinning (or sticking) those threads is unnecessary imo but you have the special thread of stickiness - be happy!
I just looked at the guide section, there are 3 eb guides, 2 banner guides (why you need one really?), 2 potion guides (not needed either), a guide to bid normad arrows (duh) and 2 humour threads. Gg Edit 2 ee guides , quest guide, cheese asking for volunteers
I asked about sticking a guide once, the response was that it was in the guide section so it didn't need to be stickied. That section cannot be posted in because it is reserved for guides that have met the criteria for a sticky and moved there. No sticky necessary if your guide is in that section.
Support have removed the sticky. Congrats on having a thread in there! The general premise of Guides is that it is the best of the best already, so we don't need stickies to point out the good posts (excluding the beginners guide, as its highlighted for new players).
Most guides in the guide section were stickied at one point When the forum was reorganized last year, all those stickies were unstickied and placed in the guide section where, as others have pointed out, cannot accept new threads from non-admin accounts So theres no point in making anything in the guides section sticky because those threads will never get spammed into oblivion
