Hello Forums. Terra here, with another typical thread of mine. A whiny thread.(its what I do best) Today marks another fabulous :roll: addition to our game. Earlier this morning, kaw_community, in no way represented in the photo below, delivered a new update to our game! I will get right to the point. This new update is ridiculous. This is a completely useless addition that attempts to restrict the most important aspect of this game, COMMUNICATION. This is an (un)official petition AGAINST the new chat filter update. Let's keep this game enjoyable for everyone, ATA. This is not a communist world. Supporters: TERRA
yeah. this is stupid. protecting 9 year olds from naughty language? if they knew what the asterisks meant, then you aren't protecting them from anything. so why get rid of the stars and replace it with nonsense that forces me to retype messages in cc because of that annoying block?
Restrict communication by preventing swears? Hmmm.. Are those the only words in your vocabulary? Are they necessary to maintain a healthy dialogue with other players? You can't trash/smack talk without them? Keep the game enjoyable for everyone? So you're speaking for everyone now? So you can no longer enjoy the game because you'll get silenced for saying things you shouldn't be saying anyway? If you don't like the rules of a game you choose to play, then stop playing.

I have to support terra here. Point of mods is to moderate and take care of WC and the community. So isn't your job in a way being taken away? Also CC is never moderated so why not keep it that way? Sometimes adults have adult converstions and they might require explict launguage. I don't see the harm if it is kept in cc. It does feel like we are being restricted. I am completly fine with forums being fixed. It is public so i don't see the problem there.
