lol. i'm here for the argument, not because i hate the pats. you should know that about me by now, william.
Oh, I know. When I post things, you argue them. You and I should get married..all you need to do is make me sammiches, and be the little spoon and we're practically married.
now you are just being conceited. i'm arguing with all the religious fanatics on this thread, not just you.
****. now it looks like i called patriots fans "racists". damn you for posting before my punch line!
So new development. Evidently surveillance footage shows a locket room attendant taking the balls from the officials room to another room before taking them out to the field. Story on nfl.com
yeah. apparently he took them into the bathroom. so they could take a leak. i've never been prouder of a joke.
Just another delay..notice it'll take a few weeks? Also refrain from any comments... Kraft expecting an apology? What does he know that nobody else does? Convenient side stepping with Super Bowl approaching fast.
I don't know if this has been said but here goes Balls were re-inflated at halftime, score was close and then they blew the doors open ? Ball tampering didn't change the outcome. Colts still lost. Cheating is in every sport, that's why there are rules.....it's all been done before. Let's face it there isn't anybody here that can throw in the NFL You can take steroids and you will never be Barry Bonds. You can throw a deflated football and I bet you will never get drafted. So really it's no big deal. Passes were completed with the balls both ways. So I fail to see the advantage. Fans seem to be making more out of it than anything else. NFL just like before, thinks that they gotta save face in the public. Nobody cares. Wonder if Super Bowl tv ratings will even come close Ohio States?
Cheating in the NFL IS a big deal, and for several reasons. 1. "Eveyone does it so its no. If deal" doesn't wash with me. If everyine cheats, then why have rules and why have enforcement? Lumping all teams into the cheater category is to paint with a brush that's too broad for my taste 2. Yes, its true thst if I take steroids I won't be like Barry bonds, and if I throw around deflated footballs I won't be drafted by any NFL team. People who perform at that level are special, with or with out illegal advantages. Does that mean that because those people are special and I am not,mwe should just turn a blind eye to their cheating and shrug? 3. "After the half, the pats had to play with regulation balls and they won". Ok. That's true. Indi had a terrible game, but, that's not the point. Essentially, this arguement implies "cheating is fine for winners". Cheating is wrong. Period. To say otherwise is to pose justifications for illegal actions. 4. You state the NFL needs to save face. This is true, and they can do it several different ways. They can either deal with this directly and remove a few draft picks from the pats for cheating, or, they can sweep it under the rug. From my experience, sweeping crap under the rug doesn't go well, but, thsts the route most likely to be taken by the NFL.
I think by now most are aware that an attendant was spotted on camera taking the 12 footballs into another room after the pregame inspection by the game officials.
