Let’s explore. First, whenever each new member joins, they anti up with a seal and then are allowed to stay roughly 4-8 days depending on the clan. What happens when no-one new joins? Well, that’s the first indicator of an unsustainable model. Second, you might say: Then a current member throws up a seal. But, that member subsequently gets another 4-8 days that they are allowed to stay. Is that sustainable? What happens when the clan is filled with people who already have months and months they can stick around? Do those people seal more? Third, let’s just look at the basics of the model. Let’s say one seal equals 7 days. So, if an hte clan finishes in 1:45 hours, then that’s 12 htes per day or 84 htes per 7 days. At one seal per person and 100 member clan limits, that’s doable and allows for one owner and 15 admins (many of whom are probably contributing seals also). But, there aren’t many hte clans that finish that slowly. How about one hte per 45 min? That’s 24 htes per day or 168 per week. At one seal per member and 100 member clan limit, that’s completely unsustainable. Eventually, the music has to stop and the beneficiaries are those who got in early. Just like a Ponzi cheme! The only out: A benefactor (owner or admins?) who doesn’t care about the math and just seals whenever needed or desired. A benevolent dictator who truly never intended to hurt anyone and instead is giving from the goodness of his/her heart. Gotta love it…
By God I think you're onto...no...wait...I really don't care. So what if it's unsustainable? Don't get involved on the scheme and you won't get burned.
You built some assumptions into this that just aren't true. For one not everyone stays the full 4-8 days. Some people just want all the items then want to go back to their home clan. Some may leave for other reasons before the 4-8 days is up. Two you are assuming the rate of how fast a clan goes through an HTE is constant. It's not. There are going to be times when more people are online. During the evening and weekends are busy but overnight less people play. Third you are ignoring the reality that some clans have been doing this exclusively for many months in some cases over a year and they are still going. They should of fallen apart by now. If the theory doesn't reflect reality then you are supposed to discard the theory.
Clans like Zero Gravity defy your math. But there was effort in this, not the usual "hte clams r merder kaw take them down" So good job op, but you won't change anything. They'll continue to run until devs bring them down.
