Suggestion to make SpyGlass more useful to HFLC builds

  1. So there have been alot of talks about the use of SpyGlass for HFLC builds. Mainly because the first few lands on Abyss(New lands) will cost no more than 100b-300b each. Whereas the non hflc will have option to save around 2T because of the Spyglass.

    Heres a Suggestion

Let the Land be Sub Divided into two parts
The Green Bounded lands will be cheap like starting from 100b to 900b~
All buildings will be allowed to be Build on these lands.

The Red bounded lands will be expensive like starting from 950b to whatever devs have planned as last land's cost.
No towers will be allowed to be built on these lands

Now there will be an option to unlock any of the two lands anytime. If you have more gold unlock red otherwise unlock Green ones first.
    Whats the advantage you ask?:
    1. Those who have Spyglass can have the benefit to open new lands bounded by red too which are more expensive
    2. It will be a change from the how the previous lands exploring works.

Obviously there should be a story for those lands to be expensive:
Those lands are filled with coral reefs(or something) that are hard to remove and build on so they cost more. My imagination is not as good as you so lol i leave that upto you :)

And Btw im not very great with paint so dont mind the ugly lines on the new lands :p

  2. why isn't everyone happy with the free lands they get...

  3. Or they give them all to me.

Nice effort though. I like color coded things

  4. May have been good concept a month or so ago, but no way on day of release for ATA to even consider.

    So no support

  5. Hehe im saving 2.3T from the spyglass bt i felt it wasnt fair to the hflc builds

  6. You get free lands now? 

  7. T
    Haha thanks

  8. Yes i know bud, i was planning on making this a week back. But i wasnt getting time. Im glad you liked the idea though

  9. They did it like that to close gap between players its made to help people that are not hfbc to catch up some

  10. because we already got stiffed on the build tokens, and now we're getting stiffed again? the motto in kaw should be, "bank now, buy later. The devs will cut the price in half next year and maybe give it to you as a gift for not growing"

  11. Your account is in the one year old range.

You are way bigger than me.

Only have only a tiny fraction of losses vs wins.

You got your highlands at a discount.

    so..

yeah, the build tokens sucked for build completes, but the spy glass this time still has some value. Just not as much as many feel they are owed.

  12. I'm disappointed since I just finished my hoarfrost lands before they announced new lands, but in all honesty the game is better served by doing things to keep folks in the same neighborhood rather than just giving huge handouts to the biggest builds.

  13. (Not that 3 years in forums leaves me with any impression other than that folks will be satisfied with anything but than huge handouts)

  14. my account is practically 2 years old, i was almost BC when hoarfrost came out and i finished highlands a month or two before discount happened, so they were full price tyvm. I've been on the bad side of every one of these price reductions since i have played tthe game. Try again.

  15. meh.. HL statement was a shot in the dark.

  16. One peace of advice to people who have alot of gold out for lands: Dont unlock all lands, next event may give Spyglass and then you guys will again have nothing to do with it!

  17. fixed lol

  18. exactly this, also to those who complain about building tokens

  19.
  20. I've unlocked tons of lands and didn't build on them. KaW has never discounted lands. KaW discounts buildings generally. At least they did on the highlands when hoarfrost came out.

If the new lands are obscenely expensive, they will have to raise the plunder cap as well.
