Ok so you probably think I'm crazy but aren't Devs getting free money off of this game. The crystals and everything is not real. They just put in some programs and add ons. The only thing Devs has to pay for is keeping the game in the Markets. The Devs don't have to pay for materials to make these things.
The have to pay their staff. They have to pay for more also. I'm sure they aren't just making loads of bank off this game :|
selling **** is bonus crap for that extra trip to hawaii or for that diamond ring to their wives. Ata probably makes more money off of that loser who plays 15 hours straight than the dude who spends on crap. But i aint no expert soooo
So wait a second... All of the songs on iTunes are generating revenue for various artists that which are selling noise that was most likely produced on a computer using virtual instruments. That means it should be free! People pirate virtual audio files so why can't I pirate virtual crystals??? It's not like they put any work into programming them. I highly doubt they put money into computers, servers, office space, and employee wages. WHAT A RIPOFF.
Office space, servers, computers, software, legal expenses/copyrights, research and development, payroll, eletric/utility bills, ect... yep, totally free.
What even is money anyway? A medium of exchange, with no actual value. So it's not really even a big deal if they make money because it's just paper and not a commodity with actual value. Why doesn't ATA accept chicken nuggets? I don't see the problem.
This is the wrong forum for this kind of post and no this game is not free they have 1) pay their staff 2) run servers around the world 3) software, office space (etc.) 4) and updating the game actually costs them money as well because iTunes/Google play charge you for putting out updates. So no they are not getting "free money"
Didn't the U.S. stop linking the dollar to the gold standard a long time ago so they could print more moneh? I like Mel's idea anyway, chicken nuggets are a way better currency
Yes they did, under teddy Roosevelt I believe. US dollars are no longer backed, and that's why inflation is quickly becoming a problem.
