I remember lol Tokens never were meant for HFBC builds apparently. That is unless converting to towers to war with n not use eb build in IWars as some noobs do. Still a reply from the devs would be nice.
Not true. Making a building doesn't accept token use, only upgrades. I lost a token trying it. 140b profit is max.
No surprise there Troll bro. Seems to me the devs have reverted to their trademark "we don't care about our players or their opinions instead we want to drain them dry of as much of their rl cash as possible" form. There's no denying they and KaW community have been very very quiet as of late. What's up guys still on holiday?
Ignoring HFBC builds who most likely payed the most to date for their builds does not bode well as far as good business practice. Eb's n events don't satisfy ppl across the board.
Idk what could have been done...but it surely wasn't fair to have the tokens u worked for float away into space. I agree with the point that HFBC players seem to be ignored a bit on things like these...but a way to sell them, even if for only the smallest amount an ug would have been 50b...would have been much more sufficient then big ole fat zero
I see myself retiring from kaw after 3 yrs. Once HFBC there is little incentive for me to hang around. Only a matter of time. This game is anything but perpetual if eb's n events r all thats to offer.
Also in support of op. Some may argue that they were won as part of a promo and that infact HFBC players haven't actually lost anything. The simple fact that they are a reward for what is technically a 'competition' where many paid real money to gain an advantage clearly demonstrates a mockery of the promos. So players are 'encouraged' to spend money to get further up the lb to gain better rewards which are of no benefit. The inferno and aqua to a vast majority is useless and the players of KaW have been suggesting ways to address this for as far back as I can remember, as still not a single suggestion has been taken on board or even adapted to represent an attempt to demonstrate that the consumers of your product are being listened to. So that being said, with the removal of the building tokens, which those who have not yet BC have benefitted from. You have rendeered another so called 'Reward' as useless. So what are we competing for and where is the motivation to compete if the rewards are useless? The last time I remember the community being being so vocal about a single subject was when ee wars were in need of change. This was also the last time that we receieved a structured and well thought out response. It would be good to see you invest some of your profit into your customer relations.
Nicely said Prod but alas the words customer and relations are two words the devs simply do not understand. They have shown over and over and over again how little they care about us. They think by throwing us promos, which in each and every case you HAVE to spend lots to get decent prizes, we will not only be appeased but also happy with them. It shows they think we are stupid and it's so disheartening.
I did honestly think they had turned a corner when the notion of Kaw_Community and KaW_Creative (or whatever they were called) were put forth. It demonstrated that there was an interest into what the consumer wanted. The proposal of the roadmap was superb (though not entirely correct) and they delivered on some of the aspects. However as it rolled towards the end of the year the constant release of promo after promo gave us all a perception of they were only striving for one thing...profit. This is obviously the point of any business however, no successful long term business can strive without adaptation and creative new ideas. Those ideas can often spring from the minds of consumers who have the passion for the product. Its time to start listening to the consumers again. Before I see yet another wave of friends retiring from the game, and yes it has already started in relation to the last few months promos. I'm not a big forum poster as I feel people often come here to troll others and dull their creativity, and I only post when I feel that there is a strong reason to.
I must say Prod that's an excellent post. Very accurate and well written. My anger has been directing most of my comments here but the reality is I think you've put it best. Constant promo and obvious search for more and more profit while continuing to, in the most part, ignore your customer base is just not smart business. Why do they not understand that they could get us to spend more if they spent more time listening to us...
That was my bad, I pm'd johnedee asking them the post their thoughts on this thread. I'll be sure I run it by everyone in forums before I ask people to post their opinions. Have a nice day ️
The best idea I read was for building tokens to become available in a promo after the next tier gets released. Easy enough and no reason for anyone to be upset if it happens
