Hello fellow Kawers. Some of you may know me, but if not let me introduce myself...my name is od, as all my friends and family on kaw call me, and I am the owner of Family-Loyalty-Integrity, or more affectionately called: FLI, and I am writing this forum post today because I had an idea come to me and I don't believe it has been attempted yet (I may be wrong, wouldn't be the first time, but I know atm its not in action). So I said to myself, if this could possibly help others in the Kaw-munity then its my duty to give it a shot. The idea came to me one day when I was searching for equip for one of my alts. I sat in wc for 15mins watching ads go by...seemed like the only ads I saw were for tsg and up or reck and down...I thought to myself, maybe I missed an ad or maybe a clan is doing an eb I need but hasn't posted ads. Then I took the arduous task of searching through ALLLL the active ebs which took another 15/20mins of my life before I could find an eb I needed or settled for. I'm sure all of you at some point found yourself in this situation,( especially with the evil ebs no one likes, stupid tier 7 dragons). So with that in mind it came to me, being that I was a merc back n the day (shout out to my old Mercs Legion fam!!) merc walls have always worked well to get groups of ppl working together as one, for a common interest, the completing of ebs...so why couldn't that same concept be used for ads for equip dropping ebs. Then it hit me! why not make an account where clans can post their ads for equip dropping ebs on its wall. This concept works in two very affective ways. 1) Clans can post their ads to this wall and the ad will stay on the wall visible to the kaw community theoretically the full length of the eb, this in theory is drastically better than wc ads because not everyone is watching wc when u post an ad. So this allows for a clan to have their equip eb advertised n a centralized location for the full duration of the eb instead of the 2 mins it might stay visible in wc, or even 15mins n wa (not to mention saving speakers for actual chatting in wc rather than blowing them on ads, which annoys many ppl who try to use world CHAT for...guess what? Chatting... Also this would hopefully help clans trying to complete unlocks or harder middle tiered ebs to get more kawers to join instead of hoping for success from wc. 2) Kawers who are looking for a specific eb can stop having to stare into the abyss of wc watching 50 Tier 10/11ads and innumerable HTE clan ads fly by, when all they want is the stupid bow from TGL. Also it hopefully, if used correctly and efficiently, will cut down on the wasted speakers n wc asking "looking for equip ebs, wall me" which half the time ending in random wc hits What about all the abusers? Well there r idiots everywhere u go, but I don't believe that should stop us from trying to help our fellow kawers to get the equip they need to continue playing and loving the game, and especially making it easier for newer players to find equip ebs, hopefully engendering a love for the game and in turn fostering loyalty to kaw in the days when that quality is seeming to waver in the newer generation of kawers. Wall rules will be as follows **1 post per clan per day **All posts must be for equip dropping ebs only, all other non equip dropping eb ads will be deleted. **This is not a wall for advertising your clan, only your equip dropping ebs **Spamming of any kind will result in being blocked from the wall **This is not a merc wall for last minute help requests, any posts of this type will be deleted **All blocks will be discretionary And most importantly, I hope that this wall will help my fellow kawers to finally get the equip they have tried 100times to get, and help new clans and old clans to be able to find more hitters for those more tedious ebs I hope you all enjoy my idea and if so please support this forum post and please use the wall and tell ur friends and and ur clan mates and their friends!! Good idea OD. I personally think this could be helpful to many players. If not dont hate... just dont use it.
Support. this could be useful for eq hunters privided it is kept up with. It works for merc walls, worth a shot.
Not bad, but I think an EB selection from a drop-down menu located on the clan events page, under EBs would be better. It would enable the user to narrow the search to recently started EBs, filtered by whatever EB the user would like to find. They could add a select multiple EBs function (not much harder to implement) though a single selection would enough.
I definitely agree a change to the programming would be a much more efficient way to find specific ebs, so hopefully this idea may give the devs some look into how useful it could be, and possibly be a stepping stone to a change n the games coding and format for a more permanent solution! :-D
True, and I mentioned that in the thread, this is just a nice way to cut down on the time it takes to do that...because if u have ever looked for an eb, there are a lot, and all the same eb so self filtering can be arduous as mentioned above...not impossible just another option!
This will help out other players a lot, support. Maybe a mod can check the wall for spamming every once in a while? Or the account can report to mods, just some ideas!
No support. Just go to Clan>clan events>Epic battles and scroll through clans doing different eb's. weak sauce.
